Feets / Collection / My build 1.25yrs of collecting
Missing from the lineup is
- little badger
- two Ruger 10/22s
- mossberg 88
- savage 64 .22lr
Friend of mine told me about GP in Jan-Feb of ‘25, and that you can buy firearms online and have them shipped to you (I live in northern MB, closest store that sells firearms is 750km away)
Game changer. Wallet breaker.
Had PAL since 2019, and a Remington 783 that I shot once in 6 years. Sold it last year.
My favourite to shoot is probably the Kar98k, though I haven’t even shot all of them yet because of wildfire evacuation last summer and outdoor range is still buried in about 3ft of snow.

Feets / Collection / My build Very First Day With PAL (Fr tho)
Got my pal issued just over 30 days after submission, and the second that letter hit my desk I went to Tenda. For a mere $300, my ass got a pretty cool plinker right out of high school. Came with the muzzle attachment at the end, 2 10/22 mags, and everything to attach. Slapped my old airsoft red dot on the top and got a lil case of ammo, and I’m dying to hit the range. Note: Yes I’m broke asf that’s why I got this over the $600 Tm-22, yes I know this isn’t gonna be a generational or long term gun, yes I know it’s a Turk, but let me have my fun. I got to finally own a pretty decent rifle that I can call mine, until I get my bread up to buy a Makasi and SKS :)

Feets / Collection / My build My DIY SKS chassis that takes XCR magazines with no adapters
Ditching the buffer tube for 1913 rail shortened the overall length significantly and so did the AK style grip.

Feets / Collection / My build AK-47 (Type 2) Assault Rifle - New Arrival!
A recent new (to me) arrival from Switzer's February 2026 Auction is this Russian-manufactured, 1953 production AK-47 Type 2 Assault Rifle. This particular example is an OIC 12(3) firearm, having been converted from select-fire to semi-automatic only. The Type 2 AK-47 is distinguished by its receiver being milled from a solid block of steel, and by the external Socket provided for the Buttstock attachment to the rest of the rifle. The stocks are carved from solid wood and have somewhat different contours from the later AKM furniture that I am familiar with. The buttstock in particular is narrower in profile than that of its later contemporaries. Whether this was related to the diameter of available lumber I cannot say, but this is entirely possible. In any event, the Buttstock is certainly different, with its inlaid, metal, Stalin "Flag" pin.
If one thing stands out about this particular AK-47, it is the quality of the machine work that went into its production. The machining is performed to a very high standard, with zero internal or external tooling marks. Every surface is smooth and contoured to perfectly mate with the surrounding metal surfaces. Very impressive work, indeed!

Feets / Collection / My build Throw back to fun times.
Just about had this set up how I wanted to be. The only thing I was missing was a longer stock to increase the LOP for my long gangly self.
Seeing all these posts with SKSs in them really makes me regret trading mine off for a Mosserg 500 Mariner… that I never even shot and traded for an Axis, that I sold without shooting. 🤦🏽♂️
Gawd looking back I was such a schmuck of a kid. Lessons have been learned the hard way for sure.

Feets / Collection / My build First of many years with PAL
About time to expand the slatwall. I've been eyeing up a few .357 lever guns, I'm between the stealth hunter or henry protector. I also want a ~18" barrel .410 revolver for grouse this year (the Glock is a bb gun before anyone asks lol)

Feets / Collection / My build Second Gun, Second Day, GSG Mauser 1911 Just Arrived!
Second Gun, Second Day, Mauser 1911 Just Arrived! Never fired a gun in my life yet so can't comment much except that It's heavier than I thought, all metal, 5 inch barrel, and even the magazines are all metal. Doesn't look like there's any rail for a light or slide cut for a red dot. It's made by GSG in Germany so the same one as the Sig Sauer 1911-22 variants. Not much else to say other than always wanted a classic 1911 that is cost effective to shoot and light on recoil. I think it's ironic that all GSG 22LR rifles have been prohibited but all 1911 GSG pistol variants are ok.

Feets / Collection / My build Finally joined the handgun community
It’s an antique, but an extremely well maintained one. The Webley WG Army & Navy model.
Estimated date of production: 1892
6” barrel
Squared grip
Church steeple cylinder
Appears to be completely matching parts
Going to get it looked over by a gunsmith before I take it out, but I’m looking forward to taking it out for the first time.
I won a Martini Henry Mark IV at auction not long ago so I’m able to say I have the matching rifle and pistol for that time period together.
Next goal is a Swiss revolver (the M1882) to match my K31 rifle.

Feets / Collection / My build Wife asked me to pickup a shark cooter board. Instructions unclear, 1301 acquired.
Touched grass with friends today. Got some nice glamor shots in the process. I gotta say, besides burning my finger on the barrel, running rounds through the 1301 never fails to put a smile on my face.
