Feets / Collection / My build What's more Canadian than Turkish Temu guns at this point?

Post image

Canuck Rev410-TAC .410/45LC RIP my hands. It's lighter than I expected. I'll break it in next week sometime.

IMO nothing is more canadian than a SKS , 12 gauge and a .22 of some sort

u/BearlyDraconic01 Jun 25 '26

Those were my first 3

  • Chinese Blade SKS
  • Ruger 10/22 Sporter Stainless 18.5"
  • Mossberg 500 Field/Deer combo

Exactly my first three purchases.

Mossberg 500, Ruger 10/22 and Longbranch Lee Enfield here

Damn you've got the premium trifecta šŸ˜‚. All upgrades over the maverick 88, savage 64, and shorter Enfield.

Say what you want about these Turkish revolvers.

They are hilariously fun!

So short and compact, yet still a full stock.

5 rounds decently quick if you got the strong finger to work the double action.

I got some tricks to keep the gas out of my face, so that part ain't bad

And these new ones you don't evenĀ  need to shoot expensive 410 slugs!

I love mine, even though it's the older and cheaper 410 only sr410.

My friend was looking at getting one but the gas blowing in his face is what’s holding him back. What kinda tricks do you use?

u/Iokua_CDN 28d ago

OK, so my tips

  1. Keep gun physically far away. So with an extendable stock, extend it. With a traditional stockĀ  (like mine) I put a little recoil pad on it to give myself that extra inch or two away from the gun. My gun is the old SR 410 with a really short Length of pull, soĀ  most new guns should be fine.

  2. Try to get one with a Blast shield around theĀ  cylinder. Then, remove the Blast shield on the right side.Ā  This keeps the gas away fromĀ  your face and vented out towards the right.Ā  Keep the left Blast shield in place.

  3. Either use a red dot, or perhaps the flip up peep. Either way, keep your face higher up.Ā  Using a bead sight or normal irons means you'll lean inĀ  closer to the gun and get more gas in the face. WithĀ  a red dot and a cheek riser, you keep your face up and back further.Ā  Same with those flip up sights. You can keep your face up and back.

With those 3 thing, I turned my gassy sr410 into an actually nice to shoot gun! You'll still get some gas at times,Ā  but it's kinda fun and veryĀ  tolerable now.

I want to hear good things about 45LC through there. I want the hype to be real.

4

u/thxxx1337 Jun 24 '26

Well my 410 didn't show up, so I'll be doing the 45lc first. I already had a 45lc Rossi

3

u/TopLemon3678 Jun 24 '26

I mostly like the look of these revolvers I know for functionality there's better. Do you live your Rossi?

2

u/thxxx1337 Jun 24 '26

I do, it's beautiful. For the longest time I regret not getting a 357 but now I have 2 reasons to get 45LC. It is a bitch to load tho. The polymer tips are easier to seat, the round nose are easier to cycle. It's a vicious cycle. The bull sights are insanely accurate.

That’s what I’m wanting too. Kinda want one of the less tactical ones with hardwood stock

4

u/Scary-Detail-3206 Jun 25 '26

It’s fun with 45LC! I have a red dot on mine and it’s quite accurate even.

I got one that shoots 45 ACP with some janky little clips that hold the rounds in the cylinder, which is a pain to load, but cheap so I persist.

6

u/TopLemon3678 Jun 25 '26

Is that the Sulun arms one?

6

u/Scary-Detail-3206 Jun 25 '26

You bet. I got the short barrel wood stock model.

I bought mine through TI for some extra warranty coverage. It seems to be pretty well made as far as a Turkish revolver/shotgun could be expected to be.

Wish I got the leg holster though, gonna get some plugs and take it out for grouse this fall.

u/LumberjackCDN Gold'n Loan Outfitters & Pawn Jun 25 '26

We should be seeing these in 357 shortly as well

6

u/Ok_Rush_246 Jun 24 '26

Doesn’t it have any way to divert the debris from the cylinder gap?

26

u/thxxx1337 Jun 24 '26

My hands

2

u/Iokua_CDN Jun 24 '26

To blast shield on this one? Or is it just on the left side?

2

u/Styrak Jun 25 '26

You mean your wrist.

5

u/Scary-Detail-3206 Jun 24 '26

Mine came with aluminum blast shields, never had any issues with blowback

1

u/SakanaToDoubutsu Jun 25 '26

I've shot a Rossi Circuit Judge which has a blast shield around the cylinder gap and it just redirects gasses back into your face, I'd have to imagine no blast shield is more preferable...

3

u/Ok_Rush_246 Jun 25 '26

Oof, this sounds like a rather unpleasant gimmick of a gun

4

u/RolandDirlewanger Jun 25 '26

Only thing more Canadian is a homebrew made AR Benelli hybrid mischling thing that needs warranty work... Or an SKS

5

u/King-Conn 29d ago

To the people asking why?

The real question is, why not?

If they plan to ban everything, the more we have in circulation, the harder it will be to force compliance. And they are fun lol

8

u/FD4L Jun 24 '26

Mra

Cooey

Bubba sks

SBI 10/22

Anything in an MDT

12

u/Relevant_Diver_3228 Jun 24 '26

The SKS

1

u/thxxx1337 Jun 24 '26

Already have one

5

u/Relevant_Diver_3228 Jun 25 '26

Get another 2 or 3

8

u/throwmedownthewel Jun 24 '26

Fucking sad this is what we’ve become

9

u/thxxx1337 Jun 24 '26

Cost as much as a S&W M&P 15 :/

5

u/sometimesifeellikean Jun 24 '26

Don't worry guys, the economy will pick up soon. I mean, it can't just be us in a recession right?

2

u/throwmedownthewel 29d ago

Not the economy, the fact that our shit gun laws have created a generation of shit firearms designed out of compliance

5

u/burntlandboi Jun 24 '26

Keep them coming.

3

u/NeruLight Jun 24 '26

It looks good to me. It looks better than no revolver. Im curious what the accuracy is like with .45LC through these. I find my SR-45 is nicely accurate (just indoor range shooting however, relative to other pistol calibre rifles i have, but definitely better than how i can shoot a regular handgun).

3

u/Old-Equivalent8393 Jun 25 '26

Are we allowed to put arm braces on these things?

3

u/WeakReply5118 29d ago

Could I switch the stock out ?

2

u/NeruLight 29d ago

I have the same question

3

u/Flat-Dark-Earth Big Bore Specialist 29d ago

I feel like Turkish firearms are now 50% of our market.

3

u/v-infernalis 29d ago

To anyone who has actually bought and shot this thing:

How is this thing anyway? Works reliably?

2

u/thxxx1337 13d ago

So fucking good. No hand bites whatsoever. The sites are surprisingly good. All around fun to shoot.

2

u/RadiantCoast6147 29d ago

where’d you get your angled foregrip?

1

u/thxxx1337 29d ago

I've made no modifications

2

u/Enough_Challenge7264 29d ago

I'm confused. Is this a rifle or a shotgun?

1

u/thxxx1337 29d ago

Yes

2

u/Enough_Challenge7264 29d ago

Is the barrel rifled?

1

u/thxxx1337 29d ago

Doesn't look like it is

2

u/Enough_Challenge7264 29d ago

So...just throw .45 slugs down a tube? Minute of barn door.

2

u/Consistent_Animal_70 28d ago

Get what you can, while you can. I dont see an election coming any time soon. And I dont see a fair fight either. Liberals are always going to cheat.

2

u/HungryFollowing8909 24d ago

Surplus communist guns i guess?

Hopefully someday soon it'll be homemade SMG's and FGC-9s

4

u/BulltacTV Jun 25 '26

I mean winchester makes all their stuff in Turkey so I doubt their tooling or QC for export is actually that terrible.

The ridiculous cope aesthetic of all these guns is so cringe tho. I dont want a fucking lever action sci-fi gun. I just want to be able to continue to own decent firearms under one of the most restrictive gun legislations in the world.

Now I'm going to buy more shit!

-2

u/LeeFrann Jun 25 '26

Not buying one

-3

u/BrotherLefthand Jun 24 '26

Is every canadian poor? Why are so many "new gun" posts just shitty turks?

2

u/HappyCan7250 25d ago

Not every Canadian is poor.... but most are after a decade of LPC taxing people to death. So yes, Canadians are poor.

2

u/Cre_AK47 Name Prohibited by OIC 29d ago

Because all the cool expensive shit has been banned?.. Unless you got a Valmet M78 yourself.
