Feets / Collection / My build First of many years with PAL

Post image

About time to expand the slatwall. I've been eyeing up a few .357 lever guns, I'm between the stealth hunter or henry protector. I also want a ~18" barrel .410 revolver for grouse this year (the Glock is a bb gun before anyone asks lol)

Dang is that an AR7 lol what is that all about. Trailhand low key the cutest thing here lmao

7

u/IceWide6245 Mar 29 '26

Yeah I started the AR7 build from the front lol. I was planning on adding a pistol grip and folding stock adapter, but after taking it to the range a few times I realized it can't get through a full magazine without jamming. The barrel does still come off easy, the whole shroud basically acts as the barrel nut, I was going for a tacticool backpacking plinker. Maybe I'll revisit it one day

It looks real neat anyway

I would pick s&w before Henry

3

u/S-Archer Mar 29 '26

I picked s&w 357 and it's friggin amazing

1

u/MrBlackroc Mar 30 '26

Same got one in 357 and 44 mag

Been meaning to pick up an Italian Carcano. How do you like it ? Ammo available ?

5

u/IceWide6245 Mar 29 '26

The carcano was my first purchase, it's definitely one of my favorites. The sights take some getting used to, but once you figure it out it's so satisfying ringing steel at 100yds. The only option for ammo is ppu, that being said it's almost always in stock somewhere(Marstar or G4C). I've been keeping all my brass, probably over 200rds at this point so I should probably get into reloading lol

4

u/Ronin_Black_NJ Mar 29 '26

May you continue to send rounds downrange..đŸ«Ą

3

u/mbeare0885 Mar 29 '26

How do you like the Akdas Alcor? I'm very much considering picking one up, as I have all of this .223 just sitting there now 😒

2

u/IceWide6245 Mar 29 '26

Shot it last night for the first time, I love it. I stripped it down and gave it some clp beforehand and it ran great. The cross mags are a bit loose but they cycle just fine, and I'm glad I got the threaded barrel cause the muzzle flash is fairly large sometimes. I'm hoping kodiak releases their kit for it soon, it gives galil vibes

I try to stay away from his stuff especially for something like a stock adapter, the kodiak kit also uses a drop in ar15 trigger and moves the grip forward so you don't have to break grip to hit the mag release

1

u/AsparagusUnhappy5395 Mar 29 '26

Interesting. Any reasons in particular. Thanks for the info man!

3

u/drojaking Mar 29 '26

I wouldn’t use his stuff on anything bigger than a 22

1

u/AsparagusUnhappy5395 Mar 29 '26

Why’s that? I’ve been looking at his stuff for a while and basically was only looking at the Alcor if I could make it look the way I wanted lol

1

u/IceWide6245 Mar 30 '26

The quality of his stuff is pretty bad, lots of people have had their stock adaptors snap in half. Everything is made from white resin then just spray painted, so scratches stand out like crazy. The parts just feel gross in your hands, not to mention the "signature smell" they have

2

u/ASpacebornVagabond Mar 30 '26

I've got the crusader kit for my Alcor, not a bad kit. The foregrip is okay but the adaptor and stock is really good. I'd stay away from Tommy enterprises. I had their adaptor and got a replacement for my Henry and it melted twice in a couple mags at most. Not well made at all.

Jealous of the threaded barrel. I didn't get that on mine. I'll have to get s&j to thread it or see if there is someone local that can

2

u/AsparagusUnhappy5395 Mar 30 '26

Oh god. Thank you for letting me know. Guess I’ll just wait for the Kodiak Defense kit to become publicly available

1

u/ThanksCarol Mar 30 '26

No shade to their team but they’ve been getting awful reviews for their 223/556 stuff. Quality isn’t up to snuff. Buyer beware. They do seem like a great team so I wouldn’t even say to avoid them. Just spend a couple hours researching anything you buy from them before hand. The alcor kit is one that I’ve seen a concerning amount of bad reviews

2

u/MrBlackroc Mar 29 '26

Nice wall. Is that the aluminum 4x4x feet

1

u/IceWide6245 Mar 29 '26

Thanks! Its pvc 4x4 from proslat, I would've liked the aluminum but I wanted a darker color

1

u/MrBlackroc Mar 29 '26

Awesome. Ill be shopping for some of these to improve my space. Are these all the U hooks holding the guns ?

2

u/IceWide6245 Mar 30 '26

Yep, the heavy duty U-hooks seem to work best

2

u/DougMacRay617 Mar 29 '26

Whats up woth the blk tm22? Looks like it had mono top rail and some kinda AR charging handle is all that after market?

1

u/IceWide6245 Mar 29 '26

Yep, Alex's top charging handle and the handguard pic rail is from tommy enterprises

1

u/DougMacRay617 Mar 29 '26

Is the ar handle functional?

3

u/IceWide6245 Mar 29 '26

It's very FUNctional indeed

2

u/GhostProtocolGaming Mar 29 '26

How's the axor arms fs pro? Have you put many rounds through it?

1

u/IceWide6245 Mar 29 '26

Only about 50 rounds, I actually shot it for the first time last night. I completely stripped it down and lubed it beforehand and it ran good with no jams

1

u/SceneAccomplished549 Mar 29 '26

I own one as well, I've put a fair amount through it (maybe like 150-200 shells now) and its been great

2

u/SuperSidney376 Mar 29 '26

I gotta say, that top TM22 looks sick man. I’m guessing that’s the original version and not the pro?

2

u/IceWide6245 Mar 29 '26

Yeah 18" with the short handguard, I'll likely rob a 12" of it's barrel in june when they come out lol

1

u/SuperSidney376 Mar 29 '26

We have 12” barrel models coming?? In June?? Why was I never told??? Looks like I gotta get one
do you know if all models are gonna have a 12” option or just the pro?

2

u/IceWide6245 Mar 30 '26

Keep an eye on North Sylvia on CGN. It'll likely be a polymer receiver with an 11.7" threaded barrel alongside their normal models, but import is confirmed for June 2026

1

u/SuperSidney376 Mar 30 '26

Thanks a lot 👍

2

u/Zealousideal-Hat5814 Mar 29 '26

What is the name of that furniture on your ar7??

2

u/IceWide6245 Mar 30 '26

From the front: Tommy enterprises faux suppressor Tony systems AR9 handguard Israel defence folding vertical grip Haga defence barrel nut Haga defence charging handle Triple k 15rnd magazines Amazon lpvo It still needs a haga defence stock/grip adapter to finish it off

2

u/8x56isfmj000 Mar 29 '26

Nice! Whatever size you decide for expansion double it if possible. Been down that road thinking I have enough hardware and before you know it you’re out of room again standing there trying to figure out a spot for the newly acquired piece.

2

u/blzed001 Mar 29 '26

How do you like the BB gun? I literally just opened one yesterday for my son.

2

u/IceWide6245 Mar 30 '26

I've had it for probably 5+ years, it's pretty fun but uses a ton of co2 with the blowback action. It's a good option though if you can't shoot on your property

1

u/blzed001 Mar 30 '26

Appreciate the feedback back

5

u/excellentiger Mar 29 '26

Does it have a switch

2

u/dgod40 Mar 29 '26

I don't know if the switch works in the BB gun but I wonder what the legality is? I'm assuming just having a switch even without a gun is a no no.

-8

u/NeruLight Mar 29 '26

What lol .. like the whole wall just turns around like some mystery mansion? Tell me that’s what you meant lol

12

u/PaleBug3285 Mar 29 '26 edited Mar 29 '26

He meant the glock

1

u/NeruLight Mar 29 '26

Oh lord lmao

1

u/MacAttack109 Mar 29 '26

Which optic mounting plate do you have on the shotgun in the middle of the photo (590?)

2

u/IceWide6245 Mar 29 '26

Thats the gg&g rmr mount, I got it off canadian safety source

2

u/therowdyirishman Mar 29 '26

Check out Outerimpact as well. They have a cool mount system that can adapt to use the majority of micro RDS footprints. It can be mounted in front or rear receiver holes too.

1

u/Enough_Challenge7264 Mar 29 '26

Nice! What did you use for the panel edge finish and where did you get it?

2

u/IceWide6245 Mar 29 '26

It's the 4x4 pvc kit from proslat canada

1

u/OUTLAW_PAGETY Mar 29 '26

How good is the tm22.

1

u/IceWide6245 Mar 30 '26

The blue one has probably over 3000 rounds, the black one about 500. As long as you strip it down completely and clean it when you first get it, it'll run beautifully, mine loves G96 RFG. Also don't listen to anybody that tells you to remove one of the extractors, both the extractors and springs are different from the left to the right side so make sure you keep track of which is which

1

u/OUTLAW_PAGETY Mar 30 '26

Ok, I seen both the blue and black styles at the gun show, is there any difference other than looks?

1

u/IceWide6245 Mar 30 '26

Nope they're both 18", the blue is Derya and the black is RIA but it's the same gun. The blue one is pretty much how it comes, and the black one has all magpul furniture

1

u/AHangryBeaver Mar 29 '26

That’s an insane amount of money to sink into guns in 1 year. That’s like $10k sitting on your wall

1

u/IceWide6245 Mar 30 '26

Nah, maybe half that at most. We don't keep track around here anyway lol

2

u/s2kd Mar 29 '26

Which Mossberg 590 is that? Was it optic ready? Red dot directly on reciever?

1

u/IceWide6245 Mar 30 '26

It's the 14" 590A1 it comes with ghost ring sights. I just used the gg&g rmr mount with an amazon red dot, surprisingly its actually held zero but I'll replace it with something nicer one day

1

u/AlphaMikeFoxtrot87 Mar 30 '26

Hello, I just got my PaL in the mail the other day and am looking to begin as you have. I quite like what I see here though I don’t know enough about them yet. What pieces are we looking at here and what can you recommend? I would like to have a 22 and a shotgun first. Thank you

0

u/burgers1919 Mar 31 '26

That a real handgun how u only been in the game a year and have that?!

1

u/burntlandboi Mar 29 '26

No feet, no upvote.

-7

u/Alarming_Maybe5195 Mar 29 '26

Looks like a bit of sloppy storage IMO. Unless that room is designed as a safe. Not trying to be the safety police, but always remember what you post reflects the community at large. Unless those are in a vault, you need trigger locks on each. Also being on slat walls falls into more display category than storage. If it's your first year with a PAL I'd consider revisiting the storage and display rules.

23

u/IceWide6245 Mar 29 '26

It's a full safe room with brick behind the drywall, plus a steel door and deadbolt. It used to be an old panic room, I used it as a walk-in closet until recently

-11

u/Alarming_Maybe5195 Mar 29 '26

Sounds pretty secure (about as much or more as a thin metal "safe". Thanks for the info man. Some people just put this shit in a closet and call it secure lol. Makes us look bad sometimes.

So by this logic just lock the front door of the house and you're good to go? That is one lock. Car door is transport so different rules than storage or display. That's a loose interpretation of the law. We can all wish for it to be that way, but in reality it is not. Feel free to push your luck in court if anyone ever came knocking for any reason.

7

u/GodsGiftToWrenching Mar 29 '26

Don't worry, OP can always look at the vauge and open to interpretation wording on what constitutes a safe room

-5

u/Iamzaiden Mar 29 '26

So true!!

0

u/CheesecakeEasy8952 Mar 29 '26

Just got a TM22 new IPSC MiniRifle toy.

-2

u/Crusty_Pantaloons Mar 29 '26

Need suggestions because the Turkish shitstand you grabbed all these from doesn’t make lever gats?

1

u/IceWide6245 Mar 29 '26

Morrison makes tons, what would you suggest for a semi .223 from a reputable brand? (The worst functioning gun here is the Henry btw)
