Im wanting to buy some 300prc ammo and came across Londero sports. Everyone else is charging $60-$75 for shipping via UPS or Purolator but these guys are $20 flat rate. I even emails them and they confirmed thays correct. Has anyone dealt with them before? I live in Southern Ont.

Hi all, newer PAL holder here.

After going hunting with some acquaintances last year, I decided to pursue it myself. Have my PAL, outdoors card and have purchased a shotgun.

My wife didn't really seem bothered by the whole process until I got the gun. She'd prefer its not in the house, which i can accept. The gun club here has a year plus waiting list so storage there is not an option right now even if they do offer it. Are there any storage options that would allow reasonable access?

Perhaps a responsible private storage option (for a fair fee)?

UPDATE. Thanks for ideas guys. I incorporated a few into this mornings discussion and I at least bought some time. Very redundant security in separate area, giving her a part to hide, made a couple more promises about personal commitments.
Her main concern is my adhd son. Goal is to not let him know about it until he's mature enough to understand repercussions of talking about my guns.

So hypothetically someone were to have a lower or full wx-mcr with a ruined upper if they'd be looking to get rid of it by chance. I got a MS- mcr because I heard the metals were better in the receiver. Now I'm sad I didn't realize what I missed out on. So hypothetically of course if someone had a ruined or deactivated mxmcr I don't know where much else to look

I have been keeping my 6.5 brass as I shoot and really doubt i will ever reload any of it as I dont want to buy the equipment.

Is there any place that buys it or would it be better to just toss it in my range's brass bucket?

I recently purchased a brand new 1301 Mod 2, and the follower is green. Every video on the Mod 2 I’ve seen shows the stock follower as silver.

I was wondering if anyone else received their 1301 with a green follower?

I’m a bit paranoid that I was sold a used gun. But it looks brand new, and there are no blemishes or wear and tear.

Finally finished a leather cheek pad / recoil pad addition for the Pedersoli Sharps in 45-70 Govt. Incorporated a little Métis Buffalo hunter flair in the design (using a Hudson Bay Company Coventry Sash). Cheek piece is an adjustable belted flap in which varying portions of the Sash can be rolled and clamped under it.

Gun range is CDTSA near Milo AB.

Hey folks, I’m looking to get my Glock slide milled for an optic.
However, the only place I’m aware of is black box customs and they require you have your slides cerakoted if they do any milling. I have zero interest in paying an extra $170 for a service and finish I don’t want.

Is anyone aware of any other companies that do CNC work?

Hasn’t updated since last November, going on over 6 months now. They used to consistently update every 1-2 months.

Now that I have my PAL, I was looking for a range to join. I stumbled across this club, and they seem to have pretty good services offered, as well as a fair price.

I've heard alot of mixed opinions about them, some say they're excellent and not really busy. Whereas some say they're always busy with the disciplines etc.

Does anyone have any experience with this range, and do you think it's worth it to apply there?

One of the big reasons I like this place, is because they offer the ability to bring guests, and they don't limit how many times you can bring that specific guest (to my knowledge). For example, I seen Gagnon had a limit until the guest would be required to purchase a membership.

This is pretty important to me, since I have a friend near there, that doesn't have a PAL, but loves to shoot guns, and we'd love to have some really good memories over there.

Heyy hoping everyone is doing well, so i live in bc and whoever has a hobby of firearms and lives in lower mainland or fraser valley would have visited Sylvester backroad at least once. Due to illegal activities in the area(stolen cars being burned at end of the trail where the crown land starts) rcmp has a check near the start. there isn’t much traffic as it used to be and i took up a initiative to clean all the campsites and mess people leave behind. Which includes empty ammunition boxes, cartridges, shells and garbage. I am currently unemployed and to keep my sanity i go there in the morning and come back at night. i do as much as i can and sometimes my girl helps me too. i was wondering if anyone wants to come and join me.

does anybody know of anywhere in canada that sells these or bulk ammo that comes with the spoon loader , id like to grab a few to keep around for my 223 mags as backups but I've checked every surplus store i can think of trying to find one with no luck ,

I'm reading through Jeff Cooper's "The Art Of The Rifle" and he repeatedly mentions the use of the loop sling for shooting in the field. I decided I wanted to try one but they're seemingly pretty scarce here to buy from a maker in Canada.

Have y'all ever used a loop sling? Was it worth it?

I'm shooting an old M98 hunting rifle in 30/06.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the historicity of particular items. I even paid a pretty penny for antiques and a Mosin-Nagant cause of its country of manufacture & individual history. However, I would think that would only go SO far for what's essentially a paper weight. I know personally I'd never bid on auction or buy from a site something I'd have to "pay for the privilege" of deactivation. I'd rather something remain in its original form then pay a premium to hold it. Am I wrong in this view? Am I a dirty poor? Both?

Bought some hardware from true north arms with an EMT which said they would send 'goodies' with the order when shipped. Got the order and the only thing extra in the box besides the hardware I ordered were these 2 little black, semi-circular rubber things. Not sure what they are for or how I can use them. Anyone got any idea 💡
