Misc Fox Operator experiences?
Hi everyone
Looking to buy some stuff from Fox Operator in Australia, I don't have a Pay Pal account nor do I want one, so I would have to use their alternate banking method but I have no idea how to complete it, my bank requires much more information not provided in the details provided after the order was made.
I have tried to email them and so far no word.
Anyone use the banking deposit method to pay for their order?
Thanks!

I had a bad experience with them unfortunately.
I purchased a few parts for my Taipan X and waited 2-3 months with no info. Tried emailing multiple times with no response.
Ended up having to force a paypal refund.
I went instead and ordered a taipan x stock adapter from ignition custom engineering. Their parts are expensive but service was fast and I received the part in a little over 1 week. Part is great and am happy with it.

The guy who runs it is works FIFO. Not uncommon to not hear from him for a while when he is away.

We need to get True North Arms or someone to get some stuff together to poach the market since Aussies are difficult to get parts from and overly expensive to ship.

Mind if I ask what you're looking at there? Hadn't heard of them before so I just took a quick look and it's mostly stuff you could source in country, mainly with Tommy Enterprises

The have Taipan accessories. Also Tommy’s stuff is not durable by any means.

Fair, but I only say one item on Fox that was expressed as aluminum. I would think the rest is a similar enough

Yeah, initially I thought fox was making metal stuff then find out it's just polymer. I was going to get the Buffer Tube Adaptor but I'm not paying 180 for polymer.

The Alcor Flared mag well, I checked Tommy before ordering from Fox and he doesn't have one.

I ordered all Alcor parts as well looking forward to getting them and seeing how the run I have the Tommy hand guard broke the first day literally cracked while installing

Yeah same here.... I support Tommy in what he does, and he is really really good to make a replacement and send it out to you free of charge if it breaks on you, multiple times even, but I really hope he can find some better materials that are stronger or if he can make his designs out of aluminum that would be best and I have a feeling that people won't mind paying the extra dough to get sturdy materials ya know?
I wish there were more in the industry that does what he does and he is great for getting stuff out to market and fast, but the strength of material leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe even if the thickness of the Nylon resin material he uses was increased it would hold up to some abuse.

Fox operator customer service is horrendous I order some stuff in march still haven’t got it yet
Literally had to reach out to PayPal and get my order reversed and open a case
After they saw I opened a case that’s when they responded and fulfilled my order very bad experience with them

I understand that but if every other person is complaining about the communication which u can see on there Facebook page reviews as well Maybe they would try to improve it at the end of the day their still running a business and charging a handsome amount for pieces of plastic

How did it go? I’m thinking of buying the handguard for my alcor

It was fine, use the PayPal option through checkout, it will allow you to use your normal Credit Card to finish the transaction, he had the stuff shipped out to me fairly quickly. I know that this is his side hustle and he goes away for work for a couple of weeks at a time. AUS post tracking is pretty good and it kept me updated until it cleared customs and CP took over. I just ordered the flared mag well but because I bought the latest version of the Alcor with the plastic stock and threaded muzzle there were some design changes on the trigger guard, as a result some trimming of the Fox Operator product was needed.
All said n done I would order from him again but I would love to see him send some stuff in bulk to Canada for a dealer to sell, just purely a convenience thing.

Recieved the order roughly 4 weeks after ordering, but he sent it off within 2 weeks of ordering, having said that rumor has it that work pulls him away for a couple of weeks at a time and this is his side business, so hang tight, you'll likely get a notification soon about it being fulfilled.

You can just opt to pay via Paypal, then when the Paypal window pops up, select "Pay with debit or credit card". From there it works like a normal credit card payment.
