Misc Cleanup at Slyvester

Heyy hoping everyone is doing well, so i live in bc and whoever has a hobby of firearms and lives in lower mainland or fraser valley would have visited Sylvester backroad at least once. Due to illegal activities in the area(stolen cars being burned at end of the trail where the crown land starts) rcmp has a check near the start. there isn’t much traffic as it used to be and i took up a initiative to clean all the campsites and mess people leave behind. Which includes empty ammunition boxes, cartridges, shells and garbage. I am currently unemployed and to keep my sanity i go there in the morning and come back at night. i do as much as i can and sometimes my girl helps me too. i was wondering if anyone wants to come and join me.

Just FYI Sylvester is a no shooting zone pretty much all the way to the top.

Used to be open to shooters - but trash and bad behaviour killed it. A clean up is a great idea. Maybe post on the 4wdABC Facebook page to see if you can get a group together.

Me and a few buddies have been cleaning up at Harrison mills, last time we took 2 pick up truck loads out. Next time we were back there the garbage just got worse, you know what ? Fuck it, I hope they shut it down. Stupid idiots can’t even clean up after themselves so nobody deserves to use crown land to target shoot. Firearm owners are held to a high standard but it seems majority are low IQ fucking dummies that cannot think about consequences of their actions. When places get shut down they are the first to complain though.

sad to say it’s people who don’t respect the privilege they have to be allowed to use the crown land. I’m kinda glad too that there’s now rcmp check stops at the very beginning so that keeps atleast a few fools away. Apart from that people should atleast take care of the mess they make as others will be using the same space. Apart from that Thanks for your effort towards harrison mills🙏🏻

And loads of morons will blame it all on Indian Immigrants. I see it on facebook all the time. How hard is it for people to realize that every group of people have their own subsect of lazy good for nothing gutter trash?
