Hello reddit friends,
Im looking to get my first IWB holster for my G15 Gen5. Ive seen some on amazon pretty cheap, ive seen some at gun stores for pretty cheap and pretty expensive. Wanted to get your thoughts and recommendations. Im right handed btw.
Edit:
I want to carry on my appendix, as for reason for a holster? Besides being a member at a range with holster certification, its important to excersice our civil liberties.

Just refinished my dad’s old cooey trainer rifle. Its a sweet little rig for sure. One thing me and my dad have been wanting to do is mount a scope on it. Only problem is, it has no current way to do so.
If any of you know some different ways of mounting a scope on the model 82 please let me know.
Any questions you have about refinishing feel free to ask!

Recently won a 91/30 barreled action on auction and thinking of doing a few sacrilegious things to it. (Already have my Hun 91/30 as my heirloom rifle). New bolt, timney trigger, bad aces scope mount. Looking at options for the stock I came across the KYRK, has any one seen one this side of the border and/or ordered one from the US directly? If so I'd like to know the ins and outs. Alternatively, at the for what they're going for, would it be more cost effective to get a gunsmith and/or carpenter to build me a custom stock that'd allow it to use Archangel mags? I'd like to use Archangel mags but think the stock looks like fried sh*t

My shadow system MR920 trigger won’t reset and it is not about the spring position. I pretty sure is the trigger bar off spec. The answer is do a trigger bar swap to OEM glock Gen4 bar.

I’m looking for a decent budget red dot sight to add on my .22 wildcat for some fun plinking. I’d be willing to spend up to 150-200$

Derya 9mm just arrived. For the money, I'm not expecting miracles. Just hoping to have a fun plinker in a calibre that's not .22. I have a TM22 and the stock on this one seems to be exactly the same. I really like that adjustability. I'm becoming a fan of peep sights and i'm looking forward to experimenting with these. I really like the look of the sharp pin front sight. If the weather holds I'll be able to put some rounds through it on the weekend.

A couple of weeks ago I boxed up and sent my Uberti Silver Boy 22LR to the warranty depot in Ontario. Between failure to fire and failure to properly eject, this gun's malfunction rate was around fifty percent, with four types of ammo.
I got an email today saying that the gun is fixed and the problems were solved by shortening the firing pin spring. Communication from Stoeger Canada and their warranty service procedure has been excellent. If this solves the problems I'll count myself lucky and try to forget about the $100 that I paid for shipping and insurance. I'll post another update once I have it back and am able to run a couple of hundred rounds through it.

Who else is particular on how they store and carry their ammo? I used to have shells everywhere and I was wasting so much time trying to find what I needed when heading out lol no more problem!

Hi all I’ve been looking at buying my first firearm and think I want to pickup a 12g semi auto shotgun. But I can’t decided I’ve seen so many options but I really don’t want to spend more than $1500 CAD on it.
I have friends telling me you can’t buy anything decent semi autos for less then $2500 but then I have other buddies telling me not to spend that much and you can get a good semi for $600!!?
Idk what to believe anymore but I feel like just under $1500 is the sweet spot I’m happy to spend that and I’ve seen a bunch of options for under that price point.
Right now what’s really caught my eye is the Beretta Shotgun A300 Ultimate 12 Gauge, 28" Barrel, 3" Chamber. But even tho it’s a good name and has a long reputation I’ve seen so many reviews complaining of having to send it back for warranty work then it becomes a good gun…
If I wanted to save a little money I also was considering the Stoeger M3000 as my buddy said for the price it’s one of the better semis you can buy. Obviously both of these options are very different.
Would love to know everyone’s opinion on these or if you see any other options fitting. I’m mainly looking for a do it all shotgun. I want to try turkey hunting some waterfowl and skeet.

I was gifted some miscellaneous 22lr and 12g shells . They have varying degrees of patina and corrosion (see in sample). Do you think these are safe to shoot and if so what level of corrosion is to much.

So I’m between two options right now.
I found a deal from a private seller for 1100 rounds of 556 and 223. Totalling about 600 rounds of brass cased 556, and 500 rounds of steel cased 223 for 550.
And online FOC has 1000 rounds of green tip PMC 556 for about 625.
So deciding which option is better, private seller ammo was stored in its original boxes in the basement with a dehumidifier. FOC stuff is of course brand new.
What option would you guys pick?

I promised to my bank account that there would be no gun except Carmel coming later Summer.
However I could not pass the last A300 UP with discount…
Took it apart, cleaned and bathed it with oil
Now I need to put some accessories on it and bring this beauty to the range

I’d like to take a BB course but can’t seem to find any being offered (I’m in the GTA). Contacting IPSC through the website didn’t help.
Are there any organizations or ranges that offer these? Any pointers will help appreciated.
Thanks!
