2050, poly has announced that movies with firearms are to blame for everything wrong in Canada so theyre asking liberal government to make another OIC on vintage VHS and dvd movies with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Rambo.

They also announced that, Jean Claude Van Damme movies are next and they also want to prohibit the display of nerf and water guns.....

Those bigger problems are already here bud, they're the entire reason there's enough people in this country who were somehow unable to learn anything from the previous decade and vote the LPC in yet again because they were so easily fooled by a new front man backed by (and chosen by) the exact same band that's been producing nothing but flops.

I'd love to see a properly researched Venn diagram that showed the overlap between LPC voters and people who fall for telephone and email scams...

There is currently no viable alternative CPC leader. The tides will again turn as Carney sours with Canadians following the coming hardships.

We will be living in a new political landscape post-Trump where liberals will need to find a new bogey man to grandstand against.

They immediately jumped on the RCMP numbers that exclude Ontario and Quebec, only count for a fraction of crime guns traced and include things like airsoft, BB and paintball guns. The misinformation train is deliberate because right now they are grasping at any straw that let's them run their narrative. Their announcement today was embarrassing in the extent to which it misconstrued statistics.

Nah Reddit is just racist in slightly more subtle ways and mainly towards different people. Your stereotypical "alt-right white nationalist" etc who you'll probably see on twitter tends to be very blunt with their racism, the "alt-left I swear I'm not racist except I actually am" on reddit just seems to be better at trying to hide behind plausible deniability. The soft bigotry of low expectations is still racism, as is rhetoric that tries to demonize/shane/guilt white people (and increasingly now Jews as well) simply because of their race.
