Feets / Collection / My build Valmet M78 “DMR”
Picked up this great example of a Valmet M78 in .308 a couple of weeks ago from GunPost. If you’re familiar with it, you’d know it was developed by Valmet as a possible LMG for the Finnish army. It didn’t get adopted but they still produced it for the commercial market. A semi-auto with a 5 round magazine doesn’t make for a great LMG so I figured I’d see if I could turn it into a DMR without having to make any permanent modifications to the rifle. It performed quite well at the range today with the cheapest ammo I could find locally (4.5” groups at 200 meters). I was just happy that it held a consistent zero! Here’s the build list:
Valmet M78 in .308
-AK Master Mount side rail (AKM Pattern)
-RS Regulate AK-303M lower mount w/ full rail upper
-MDT Premier low scope rings
-Primary Arms SLX 1-6x
-Valman AK2.0 Buffer tube adapter
-Magpul MOE PR Carbine stock (wanted something that was lightweight but still retained the silhouette of the club foot wood stock)

Feets / Collection / My build Truly grateful for listening
I got my first ever firearm today about an hour ago. And i am literally crying tears of joy. I must say that i cant thank you all who advised me to get a tikka t3x in 308win as my first hunting rifle. The action is butteerrrryyyy smooth and its super lightweight and doesnt feel cheap any where. 10/10

Feets / Collection / My build I jumped on it and got it
Context:
Following this DYPA12 for a while, anticipating for when it came out. I was in the starbies drive through when I got the email notification. Purchased right away.
Took 3 days to get here.
Pros:
Small
Sights are decent.
Very good knock off glock mags.
Accuracy not bad.
The bad.
Mag springs super tight. ( will get better with age )
My buttock tube came loose.
Odd to pump a 9mm, ( I was over pumping it thinking it was a 12g )
And now why you are really here……
The pics 🙂

Feets / Collection / My build The "Gigachad" Sks
Tried to avoid spending backland hunter/mk15 money by building something modernized. Some hate it, but I love it and that's what matters.
This idea was loosely inspired by garand thumbs "gigachad mosin" concept, except it lacks a muzzle device as nobody near me does barrel threading for a reasonable price or timeline.
Brand new french tickler late production, Matador arms chassis, vortex venom, magpul grip handstop and sling, archangel mags, kodiak defence rail, mcarbo light trigger spring. Probably forgetting something else. I blued the bolt and carrier before it was painted so its all black underneath.
Paint was done with krylon and rustoleum camos, winged it after watching a few videos. Scrim is burlap that I painted, frayed. And twisted 2.5" by 1 foot strips.
COMING SOON
Precision armament hypertap brake
Green ms3 sling instead of black
Backup irons

Feets / Collection / My build Prohibited Rifles of the Global War on Terror (GWOT)d
Today as a follow-up to Assault Rifles of the Cold War years and up to the turn of the Century, I offer up a selection of the major designs that came to market during the GWOT. Some of these designs have certainly fared better than others, but part of that is failed marketing as much as it is bad design philosophy and/or execution. It is worth noting the rise of the short-stroke piston rifle/carbine operating system during this period, led by the HK 416, but also including the ACR, APC223, MCX and Bren 2. In chronological order, here some of the major designs of the GWOT....
Fabrique Nationale FS2000 (2000-2014)
Heckler & Koch 416 / MR223 (2005-Present)
Israeli Weapon Industries X95 (2009-Present)
Bushmaster Adaptive Combat Rifle (ACR) (2010-2020)
Brugger & Thomet Advanced Police Carbine 5.56mm (APC556) (2011-Present)
Colt USA Law Enforcement Model 901 (LE-901) (2012-2015, successor takes over)
SIG Multi-Caliber Exchange (MCX) Patrol (2015-2017, successor Virtus takes over)
Ceska Zbrojovka Bren 2 (2015-Present)

Feets / Collection / My build Semi-auto .22lr reliability
What would you say is the most reliable semi auto .22lr on our market, and using what combo of ammo and magazines? I recently picked up an SBI ST22 and a few TUFF 22 magazines, working on figuring out what kind of ammo they like. Also, share your .22s

Feets / Collection / My build I joined the M1 Garand Club today
I just got myself a Harrington & Richardson (H&R) M1 Garand with a reproduction Bayonet, i absolutely love it
I do consider refinishing the wood but i am not sure yet, i do want to keep it original for the history but i do want to bring it back to it's former glory, i am torn between both options

Feets / Collection / My build Do any other Stowaway owners have mods they recommend?
I made a grip that holds glock mags, a bigger cocking knob and a stock that holds the barrel and nut when transporting it. Does anyone have any other ideas? I’m thinking a fore-grip will be next.
Having so much fun with this rifle. It’s so light and so much fun to shoot.

Feets / Collection / My build When hard work and patience pay off
Picked up this oriental beauty from a nice dude on gunpost. Met in the Cabela's lot and wow it was even more beautiful in person. Worked my ass off this summer to actually treat myself and am finally satisfied. After debt and bills and just surviving I finally got a nice possession. Guess I joined the SKS club finally.
It's a 71 Type 56 with a nice stock, heat guard, pic rail and a limbsaver pad. Can't wait to take it to the range tomorrow.

Feets / Collection / My build What’s the funniest/stupid accessory you own?
I was cleaning out some storage and found my trusty bayonet for my Glock. Thought it was hilarious back in the day and still think it’s funny. What ridiculous things does everyone else own?

Feets / Collection / My build Thanks for the gift, dad
Dad surprised me today with this sweet gift for my 30th. Totally unexpected but he's known I've wanted a shockwave for years. Now it means a lot more to me.
Can't wait to hawk some slugs out of this broomstick!
