Are you making anything for the Henry Lever action Supreme

Hadn't considered it but I'm pretty sure my rear pic rail would work on the Supreme, should be exact same spacing and threads as the Homesteader. The heat shield mounts onto the pic rail, so that might even work too, not sure.

Honestly, if you could even borrow a supreme and check, that would be a cool not for advertising them. Works for the supreme and the Homesteader! Some might even work on some other henry lever actions too

I have a supreme and the rail I purchased was advertised for a homesteader, and it fit.

How do you like the pa37?
Cheap, reliable and sturdy or a cheap repro like the Norinco 1897?

Ha! This combo looks sweet!
Dang another post slowly convincing me to buy a homesteader....

Heat shield really dolls it up. A retro folding stock would be cool on the homesteader.

What do you mean by retro folding stock??? How would that look?
Wire frame and pistol grip maybe with some leather?
Solid wood and folding stock like the woox and some AK stocks?
Mix of wire and wood like the old t81 folding stocks?
Or something differently entirely?

I have no real idea. The woox looks kinda cool. Something simple and not the overly stylized like most modern tactical parts.

u/Iokua_CDN Aug 10 '26
Gotcha! I'm probably thinking the same as you, a simpler woox and a wood AR grip combined with Neumann metalworks adaptor would likely do it for me

Wire and wood is what I’m going to go for. Maybe make some Mlok wood panel grips.
I want to get a skeletonized pistol grip and add some wood panels in the negative space to make it pop.

How’s the PA 37? Is it a cheap knockoff or it’s decent for the price? I know it doesn’t slam fire but looks absolutely badass. The bottom ejection is so interesting.

I love it, hated it at first cause it ran like shit (feeding issues) but the fix was very simple, just had to repunch in a pin. Ended up taking the whole gun apart to figure out the problem so I'm pretty familiar with it. I shoot lefty so the bottom eject is nice.
I bought a Shockeave recently for reasons and I like the pa37 better

Been loving my Neuman homesteader kit since i got it. The metal handguard/shroud looks amazing with the wood stock

u/Schrodinger_cube Aug 10 '26
Oh wow that is some nice wood, but the heat shield on the .22 really does add good contrast to the profile.

Will you be re-stocking the heat shield for the homesteader?
3
u/NEUMANN-METALWORKS Neumann Metalworks Aug 10 '26
Oh yes and the rear pic rail of course, they were a lot more popular than I anticipated

Thank you for not replacing the wood stock with that god awful ugly polymer / metal furniture

Heat shield is right at home on that Homesteader
