Feets / Collection / My build AR at home build
It's a Troy PAR. Its accurate, faster than a bolt action and has AR ergonomics. Was considering Taipan evo but I think this one looks better.

This is my block II SOPMOD inspired Tm22 so far.
I just need some FDE ladder rail panelsđŞand the top charging handle.
Someone ask Nathalie if my .22 is too "Assault Styled" and too scary and dangerous to own. đ
The high capacity magazine holds over 100 rounds!!!!......10 rounds and 90+ in the bottom for storage and weight haha.

Just got my RPAL and I am trying to start ISSF shooting in Saskatoon but I am stuck finding a coach. The SWF told me to contact the STSA, yet they have no phone number and my emails are not replied, so I wonder if I can just show up at their address. I also checked Prince Albert clubs with no luck on coaching. Who can I actually contact in SK to get started in this sport?

Anyone else surprised the NRA from the us doesnât support their brothers in the north? For a bunch of gun lovers, they donât mind turning a blind eye

Hello all. Thought I'd share my experience.
I purchased an AD500 in .308 in August or so of 2025. Upon trying it for the first time, I couldn't hit a barn at 100 yards. Figured it was just me and iron sights. After a breakin cleaning I noticed a piece of iron on the floor (uh oh I hope that's not out of the rifle). Upon inspection and looking at the parts manual, it was a piece of the cam pin that the bolt slides on to rotate. Put in a claim, all was well, they sent me a new part. Great!
I then put an lpvo on the rifle and took it to the indoor range to sight in. I had a 1.5-2" grouping... At 25 yards. Turns out, the barrel is failing. Rifling scored and pitted. Ok. Great. Put it another warranty claim, and they had me send the rifle out to gravel agency in Quebec from Alberta. This was December 2025.
Warranty was approved and process began. After a couple months went by, I began following up frequently. They were waiting for parts, or a new rifle. Then a new rifle showed up at their facility, but it failed inspection. Now about a month ago, I had a new reference number issued in my firearms account. Awesome it must be on the way soon, finally.
They sent me an invoice saying it was ready for pickup, in Quebec. I followed up with them to confirm it will be mailed back, and they said yes just an automated error, and they would send a tracking number when sent. Awesome.
3 days later I follow up as I still had not received a confirmation. They told me it was shipped July 13th via Canada post, and should be arriving in the next couple days, and keep checking the post office. Fair enough. It is now July 29th and after having no delivery notice still, I have been hounding them to send a tracking number or even any form of proof that they sent the rifle back to me, or that their IT department was working on the issue like they said (not sure how it's an IT issue). They told me to take their word for it, that wildfires have been disrupting Canada post, and they cannot disclose company information, and they can't do anything about a refund until they "figure it out". Canada post standard across Canada is 4 business days according to their website, and no postage delay is active on their website. They have basically told me now to just wait.
If a company can't provide something as simple as a tracking number for a package they shipped to a customer, and have no real explanation as to why, I'm convinced they haven't sent me anything at all.
Any advice?

You ever buy a gun and then ask yourself why?
In the case of this Federation Arms SPM 12 w/ 9â barrel, sure, I could carry it for hiking. I do live near the north coast of BC and there are mountains and mountain trails everywhere⌠and lots of bearsâŚ. But I restrict my hiking to August and the bears are all down by the river or in lush lowland vegetation.
But I already own a Benelli SuperNova Tactical 12 pump shotgunâŚ
Build quality looks ok although the charging handle is bolted on cheap plastic. Still, not a bad buy for $575 but not greatâŚ. But my God that Benelli has shot upped in price since I bought it.
I still havenât taken it to the range yetâŚ

All in all it shot well. Put some Hornady match grade ammo and some Hungarian loads through it. My only issue is that the fibre optic rod on the front sight got loose and fell out. Do I just glue it in or is there an actual fix?

TLDR: The âlifetime warrantyâ that they very clearly advertise all over their product boxes and on their website only applies if you have a US address. They also claim âno receipt requiredâ despite that being a blatant lie.
âââ
I thought Iâd give Crimson Trace a try. I wasnât too sure about them, but it seemed like it was worth a try since they very clearly and repeatedly advertise a lifetime warranty all over their products.
I purchased this scope a while back for a hunting rifle. Life got extremely in the way and I havenât been able to even think about hunting again until this coming November. Because of this, I finally took the scope out to zero. Took a single shot, went to adjust the elevation for the first time, and the turret was completely locked up.
I gave crimson trace a call and they claimed that they require a receipt despite their own website clearly stating âno receipt requiredâ. Between a basement flood amongst other things, I have no idea where the receipt would be or if it even still exists.
The receipt issue doesnât matter though because upon hearing my Canadian shipping address, they told me that they cannot handle a warranty claim unless I have a US address. I guess the âlifetime warrantyâ plastered all over the box is just decoration on the products that are sold in Canada or anywhere else outside of the US.
It seems I now have a paper weight worth over a month of my discretionary income. Donât be an idiot like me and buy from this company.

Hello all,
Iâm in the market for a tm22 pro, but the stores near me only have the 12â.
Is it worth waiting to get a 16â or 18â?
Or do the 12s run?

To whomever left all their garbage here, you are a lazy SOB. This was around Harrison East Forest Service Road.
Don't worry, I picked up all your crap and hauled it out.
Be better, don't ruin it for everyone.

Howdy Folks!
The Texan is back with yet another Gun Appreciation Post, where today, we have Canadaâs sidearm that was carried all the way up until 2024 when it was fully replaced by the Sig P320 as the sidearm.
I know that some might say that the mags were kinda janky, but TBF, the magazines are pretty old and probably have been used and abused by plenty of people in the CAF. Oh and if any CAF members or vets are in here and you have experience with this pistol, please do share your experiences, because I am willing to hear it out.
Now the Hi-Power arguably is one of the most consistent pistols in history because itâs been around for a long time, and for todayâs standards itâs actually held up very well. Back then of course in the Canadian gun market you could buy Hi-Powers until 2022 when the great handgun freeze happened, so yeah there was that. But thatâs besides the point. IMO, I think that the Hi-Power served well, and I mean what else is there to say about it? Itâs Canadaâs main sidearm that officers would carry around, and it served well. Inglis made sure to make plenty of Hi-Powers.
Anyways enjoy!

Hereâs the thing: Iâm a buy once cry once type of guy and donât like holding cheap guns I wonât use.
I want to get into trap and am looking at getting a silver pigeon⌠I donât know how committed i would be to the sport so I was wondering how easy it is to sell these guns later?
I might just keep it because itâs so pretty but just curious how easy it would be to get rid of if I did need to

Looking for my first FA.
What is the best micro/small/light shotgun?
I was considering a-tactical, sr-45, rp coach, tr410micro, sr410, from tacticalimports. Any other smaller shotguns that you would recommend?

Ruger American Gen II Scout in 5.56, fresh from IRG. Havenât fired it yet, but it feels great, right out of the box, and excited to try the scout scope arrangement.

Hi all,
Wanted to hear the community's thoughts on this scope. I was planning to get a red dot for the makasi but thought this might be a better option.
My usage will mainly be target shooting at an indoor range.
