Here I have an sks-d that was given to me by my dad who had it for many years so of course I was gonna add some stuff to it
Pretty happy with how everything turned out for the gun, shoots nice at 200yards and beyond (400yds is the furthest I’ve been able to hit a target)

Derya TM22 pro 12", man this thing is fun. I ran 1500 rounds through it last weekend, 500 Federal Champion, 500 Aguila Super Extra, and 500 s&b canadian match. Ran great, only issues were the odd f2f, but upon loading the struck round back in it would fire. It was dirty after 1500 rounds but functioning just fine. Shot it out to 180 m with hits on the ipsc plate using a PA 3x prism which was a great combo for this lightweight shorty.
Honestly so impressed it doesn't even feel like a cope. Im surprised these 12" models have not received more publicity, I dont even think there are reviews on youtube.

Hi. I am going on a hunting trip from prince rupert to skidegate on bc ferries.
Is there a need to declare my firearms as "dangerous goods" when buying my ticket?
This seems like such a hassle and heard from people that they don't even care/check.
Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Recently got my pal and have always wanted a benelli m4 but obviously the price tag is quite expensive. I’ve read around that panzer and canuck clones are good quality but a fraction of the cost.
I’d like to hear from some members what their opinions are.

How do you guys like my build? It is a Mossberg 590A1 with the following
M-Lok Forend
Picatinny rail with ghost rings
Holosun 507C-X3
Streamlight Protac H-LX with a pressure switch on the other side
Arisaka mount for stream light (highly recommend)
Aluminum milled mount for the pressure switch off of amazon but fits perfectly
Velcro shotgun cards cut to receiver shape
Run of the mill Cabelas Sling

Upon receiving my 1301 Mod. 2, I noticed it didn’t come with a Velcro receiver card, and I was wondering if it was supposed to. I ask because my A300 Ultima Patrol came with one.
Normally it wouldn’t be a big deal, just slap some Velcro, but the one included with the A300 UP was laser cut to match the receiver outline perfectly. If the 1301 isn’t supposed to come with one, that’s a little disappointing considering it’s Beretta’s higher end model.

Always wanted a drilling, but was waiting until I found one with non-obsolete calibers. Safe to say, the second I saw this one, a JP Sauer and Sohn in 12GA-12GA (2-3/4”) and 222 Remington (and a scope no less), I snapped it up quick. Handloaded my first batch of 222 a couple hours later. Excited to test it out next week and see how it shoots!

Hey guys. Birthday is coming up soon. Looking to purchase myself a birthday gun. Im having a really hard decision whether to get the mk15 or carmel, i have been leaning towards the mk15 but i’ve also been liking the looks of the carmel. Please help!

I have many 22lrs now. Trying to decide if I should get a short barrelled shotgun (less than 16 inch) or a 223/5.56 centre fire (308 is a consideration as well but ammo is pricey) and of course 16 inch or less. I have a thing for short barrels.
Use would be almost exclusively at the range. I don’t hunt but the thought of having it in the wilderness is intriguing.
Help me decide please. Would be a first for a shotgun. I’ve had centre fire rifle before but gave it to family and can’t get it back.

Hey everyone,
I recently had the opportunity to sit down with an IPSC champion for a conversation about competitive shooting, training, mindset, and the journey behind becoming a better shooter.
I’m building more firearms-related content and I’d really appreciate feedback from the wider shooting community—not just IPSC competitors. Whether you’re into competition shooting, hunting, tactical shooting, or just enjoy firearms, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
What did you enjoy? What topics would you like to see covered in future episodes? Any advice on improving the content?
Thanks for taking the time to check it out. I’m always looking to learn from people with more experience in the community.

Bought my Carmel from IRUN 1 month ago. Import has arrived in CAD facility in AB and now just waiting for CFO transfer as it says on my account. It’s my first purchase of a restricted. Anyone know how long it usually takes for this process? Thanks

Here's my birthday present to myself. The MD Gunworks Mlock Furniture Kit for my Chiappa Little Badger. Haven't fired it with the new set up but I will soon. I plan on accessorizing the crap out of it. Scope, bipod, grip, flashlight etc.
r/canadaguns • u/Longjumping_Deer3006 • 10d ago
If that lever was shorter, you could probably get a faster fire rate.
Maybe the same idea should be implemented for a 5.56 platform.

I can’t seem to find a complete list for whether I can import certain guns into Canada. Some lists are also contradictory if they weren’t updated.
I was also wondering if there were any cool/unique rifles like HK SL8 that are still available. I’m in the US 90% of the time so not interested in buying wood stock semi autos in Canada.
