Application / Regulation advice Anyone know transfer wait times for Restricted long guns in BC?

Bought my Carmel from IRUN 1 month ago. Import has arrived in CAD facility in AB and now just waiting for CFO transfer as it says on my account. It’s my first purchase of a restricted. Anyone know how long it usually takes for this process? Thanks

I just had an exempted handgun in BC clear in 10 days (also my first restricted). Maybe it’s worth it to inquire with the CFO?

How long did your exemption letter take for BC?

When I bought my Bren2 a couple years ago it was fairly quick, only took a few days.

It’s generally fast for firearms already in country, but sometimes importers are waiting for the initial registration certificate to be created and assigned to them so they can then initiate the transfer.

Got a restricted Marlin M9 a couple months ago. I think I had in my hands about 6-8 weeks after winning the auction? That’s including delivery time.

Not BC but Ontario is usually the worst for wait times and I got my transfer in 14 days.

Last time I got an R from IRG, I was a little under 2 weeks for approval. Itnwas already stocked in canada at the time.

It takes about two weeks, but it will take another week for them to ship your new rpal with transport conditions , it took almost a month for me to get the registration in the mail tho
