Shooting Practice with the matchsaver is paying off.

Gun is a mossberg 930, shooting 2¾" 7/8oz target loads.

Is it just me or is that not a good amount of recoil for target loads in a ~7.5lbs gun?

Its still a 12 gauge and muzzle rise doesnt appear to be more than one or two inches. This is also a 18.5" barrel and not a 28" barrel one might use for skeet.

Fits five 3" shells in the chamber but you can legally fit six 2¾" shells in the tube.

Tube mags are regulated based on the maximum size shell the chamber is designed for.
