Got my new scope mounted. Vortex strike eagle 1 - 8. Using a monstrum super low profile mount. Extremely happy with how this looks, can't wait to shoot it.

HOW TO GET A 22LR HANDGUN EXEMPTION IN BC (AB has a similar process)
1. PREREQUISITES
Obtain your RPAL (Restricted Possession and Acquisition Licence) and an active BCTSA (British Columbia Target Sports Association) Membership.
2. COMPLETE C-21 EXEMPTION FORM and submit to BCTSA
Fill out the designated C-21 22LR exemption form and submit it via email. Wait 1-2 weeks to receive your official Exemption Letter. This is make and model specific for each letter.
Alberta has a similar process with exemption letters that are open ended for multiple makes and models.
3. CHOOSE & PURCHASE FIREARM
Select a handgun to purchase from a Canadian or US retailer. Send your Exemption Letter to the retailer/importer (required by Global Affairs Canada and CBSA for the handgun import permit paperwork and transfer). If importing, the importer will do the paperwork, shipping and clearance for you.
Requirements:
4. FINAL RCMP SUBMISSION (AT REQUEST)
Send your Exemption Letter via email when specifically requested by the RCMP Firearms Centre on behalf of the Chief Firearms Officer (CFO) (Miramichi, NB).
5. RECEIVE APPROVAL & REGISTRATION
Receive your transfer approval and registration certificates via email from the RCMP.
6. RECEIVE DOCUMENTS
Receive your physical registration certificates via mail from the RCMP.
7. RECEIVE HANDGUN VIA MAIL
Receive your .22LR handgun(s) via mail.
Requirements Checklist
To qualify, your application must reflect the following criteria:
The BC Target Sports Association is that Provincial sport shooting governing body in BC. The SFC is the National Sports Organization.
What this means, is that if you are training, competing, or coaching in an Olympic or Paralympic discipline using Handguns, BCTSA can provide an exemption allowing you to purchase appropriate handguns. Generally, this means .22 caliber pistols. You are not expected to be proficient or competitive, just wishing to train in the sport. BCTSA offers this to all BCTSA members, including the members of Affiliated Clubs. BCTSA met with the Chief Firearms Officer for BC and worked out a process for this exemption. Acceptable Firearms are generally .22 calibre. Entry level handguns are acceptable, as are the more expensive, competition quality handguns.
Before you apply for a Transfer Exemption, you should locate a Handgun to purchase. Many stores no longer carry or order Handguns, so please do your shopping before you ask to transfer a Handgun you can't find to purchase. BC is not Texas. The availability of Handguns here is an issue, especially with this being one of the few avenues left for purchasing one.
To be eligible, you need to EITHER: Train, Compete or Coach. Only one is necessary. More is better, but only one is necessary. This is about intent, so if you are training to compete in the sport, please check off Training and Competing, as that is the intended purpose of the Handgun transfer. Do not send a shopping list of what you MIGHT like to transfer if you can find one, only what you have found and will transfer. Shopping lists will be denied.
Disciplines
Eligible 22LR Handguns (Example Brands)
Note: Under this exemption, firearms must be for .22LR caliber only and Minimum 4.17-inch (106mm) barrel length.
US Import Note: Handguns can be purchased from the IRUNGUNS US store in Arizona. They are then imported to their Canadian warehouse in Alberta and shipped directly to the customer. IRUNGUNS handles all the necessary cross-border import paperwork on your behalf. There are also other combinations possible such as from an auction to the importer. Any extended magazines are clipped to 10.
Double check that the handgun is listed as Restricted on the RCMP Firearms Reference Table (FRT). You can also check if it was previously sold by a Canadian retailer online (many are still listed just out of stock). There are some AR pistol variants for example that are prohibited.
EXAMPLES -- Basically any handgun you can find in the USA that is 22LR and classified Restricted with a Minimum 4.17 inch (106mm) barrel length can be imported:

Just curious, what do you guys think between the 12" and 16" TM22 Pro?
I'm looking to pick up a plinker, and I see that there is a lot of 12" stock right now.
Also anyone happen to know when the 16" will get re-stocked?
Edit: Thx all, 16" it is!

I’m looking for a blast diffuser similar dimensions/ style as the Warden. Was wondering if anyone knew something similar that doesn’t cost as much. Not sure what our options are up here. thanks

Local guy wanting $900.
I've found a few for the $600-ish range, but not matching, or a tickler, or just abused.
I decided to stick with the OG and get a tactical stock one day if I'm inclined. Anyway, that advice helped on a previous post, but many in it also aren't SKS fans.
So for the fans, this is the cleanest example I've found around here. Fair deal?

Brand new gun, first few round, and it is doing this, and it kept happening for the rest of the mags. Is it a mag problem? Or is it a gun problem, I’m a complete newbie in debugging guns. And I don’t know what caused this kind of failure after firing.
The mag is pro mag rem597 22 round with the adapter came in the box of this gun.
I would love to know the answer and gain some knowledge as well! (Ignore the missing battery cap)

I really hope the PM decides to take this for a spin at the range and decides the Secretary of State for Nature should stick to the Nature lane.
I doubt anything will come from this but it sure would be incredible if all it took was this gifted revolver to change the course of gun legislation in this country.

I made a grip that holds glock mags, a bigger cocking knob and a stock that holds the barrel and nut when transporting it. Does anyone have any other ideas? I’m thinking a fore-grip will be next.
Having so much fun with this rifle. It’s so light and so much fun to shoot.

Hey everyone. Just got a RIA imports TM22, brought it out today for its first real target shooting. Put around 200 rounds through it and at the end, the magazine catch button popped out. It seems the threads on it are stripped so the catch button screw won’t thread into it. Has anyone else had this problem? Or know where to get metal one?

Shooting at some steel 8x8 at 600 in preparation for my upcoming LEH goat draw. Will be keeping shots under 400 for the hunt but want to get comfortable with distance.
Lots to learn shooting this far. So many variables. Wind has been crazy the last little bit so thats been a fun learning curve

Someone (in CGN) took a busted Webley MKII frame and MKVI cylinder and barrel assembly and made this unholy Webley MKII***. It has MKVI Cylinder and barrel assembly so it can withstand nitro-based ammo (or at the very least a cordite alternative) and since frame is the gun so it is fully legal and antique. To top it all, they got new grip made locally.
They also made speed loaders using .410 speed loaders with central post removed.
I also wish to do the same and have some doubts. Can someone with knowledge in antique restoration help me with following questions?
They mentioned they used part of MKVI cylinder cam system. Can someone elucidate what it will amount to? I believe they had to put the cam that rotates cylinder from MKVI to MKII.
They mentioned they had to cut new forcing cone and CNC a new ratchet star. Why will a new forcing cone be required? I thought forcing cones forces bullet from cylinder into barrel. That should be a part of barrel assembly, right?
Also CNC a new ratchet star. Thats for timing and extraction, right? so they had to make a new one. That sounds a bit worrying. Because it controls timing.. Has anyone here done something similar and what was your experience?
I tried communicating with them but they are maintaining radio silence. Perhaps for a good reason.

I don’t know how I stumbled upon these but I did. It seems sketchy I’m not sure it’s a good idea but it could solve an issue I’m having with my 10” Ege Levar12s.
So out of my 18” barrel 12 guage using a rifled choke tube I have great accuracy with repurposed target loads with hand made Lee 7/8 slugs but when I toss them in my 10.5 Ege with the same rifled choke it’s all over the map.
My best guess is with the shorter barrel it’s not getting a good enough burn and the blast is sending the slug tumbling? I’m not a ballistics expert. It goes in it goes boom it comes out. What ever else happens in between or after it’s beyond me. So this leads to my 2 questions has anyone tried one? And from what I can tell Lockhart tactical is a legitimate company I can trust?

UTG TL 360° bipod 7-9" (waiting for MDT GRND)
Sphur 34mm scope mount

Wayllan QD picatinny to arca head adapter
Custom brass internal weight (tapped and fastened)
Custom spigot base v1 (secured via arca milled slot)
Custom clamp on tuner (testing stage)
Custom adjustable bag rider plus grip connector bar v1. Milled and hand finished from 2"x1"x12" 6061 aluminum bar stock and two turned 9.5mm x 65mm 6061 aluminum pillars.
Total weight: 18.8lbs (unloaded)
Point of balance is half inch front of Barricade stop.
Sub MOA with norma whitetail 100gr 5 shot at 100yrds.
Load development in progress.
Work in progress:
Barricade stop extension
Spigot body (2 mlok slots)
NV Bridge/hood (picatinny)
Enclosed forend (picatinny/mlok)
None of these upgrades altered the main body of the chassis. The screws used were surplus hardwares that came with the added MDT accessories. (@MDT Josh 😉)
Open to answer any related questions.

Anyone know how to remove the crossbolt safety on the heritage arms mare's leg? I've seen that for other similar firearms you push it in half way then rotate. I tried that on this thing and it doesn't seem to work.
