Buy recommendations Anybody tried one of these?
I don’t know how I stumbled upon these but I did. It seems sketchy I’m not sure it’s a good idea but it could solve an issue I’m having with my 10” Ege Levar12s.
So out of my 18” barrel 12 guage using a rifled choke tube I have great accuracy with repurposed target loads with hand made Lee 7/8 slugs but when I toss them in my 10.5 Ege with the same rifled choke it’s all over the map.
My best guess is with the shorter barrel it’s not getting a good enough burn and the blast is sending the slug tumbling? I’m not a ballistics expert. It goes in it goes boom it comes out. What ever else happens in between or after it’s beyond me. So this leads to my 2 questions has anyone tried one? And from what I can tell Lockhart tactical is a legitimate company I can trust?

Instead of just copying a link, you took a canted photo of your screen, and posted that...

Ah yes, the Turkey extender.
. Renowned globally for it's economic advantage, turning your $400 blue 12" mag fed abomination, into a certified upland-game precision instrument and skeet champion companion.
. Snide remarks aside, forgive me I couldn't help myself, do not buy this.

I think I’d be better off just buying the 18” version lol or I might reach out to the warranty depot and see if it’s less than half the price of the gun just buy the barrel hand guard and nit then a guy could just swap back and fourth

If the restriction is cost, but you want short and long barrels, buy the cool looking cheap short barreled Turkish and then buy a used long barrel 12ga from GNG or InterSurplus. You can get quality break/pump action shotguns for as low as $200-$400.
. Or even better, buy the mossberg combo with 18" + 28" barrel (don't know the exact model or lengths but it's something like that).

Cost is not 100% factor it’s just I dont wanna have 2 of the same gun with differnt barrel lengths. I’ve got plenty of options for 12 gauges in the gun room. I just want to be able to shoot slugs accurately from this one. I reached out to sfrc to see what’s available for parts to convert

Don't fuck with this dude... This strikes me as a SERIOUSLY sketchy and potentially dangeous mod, especially with the Turkish QC secret sauce at play.

Damn, that really stings coming from a renowned core contributor like yourself. I'll try to do better next time I'm speaking on a totally unknown quantity that no sane person would have any first hand experience on.

Im having a hard time accepting the fact a barrel extension will damage a gun. I get bad tolerances exist but I disagree that extension is likely to cause problems.

Turkish Shotgun + lengthy Lockhart part (threading internally) into the barrel a 1oz chunk of lead is shimmying down = zero concern for you? You're braver than me dude, or seriously lacking in imagination/understanding of failure points. I'm inclined to say the latter.

Threading internally like a choke does? Like a extended choke does? So isn't this part just a extended longer choke?
I don't think it will solve the OPs problem but your comments are just a fabrication.

If you don't know how to post a link, don't you at least know how to take a screenshot? There's different ways.....

I do know how to both of those things but if you notice the website is up on my computer and I couldn’t be bothered to enter it on my phone where I posted this from. Sorry I’m too lazy for your liking next time I’ll do worse

I have two of them. I am currently using one on a 10 inch Levar12 with zero issues. It works as it should.

I use the middle one. Works fine. You get more speed on birdshot to knock down steel. I have tiny amount of POI shift on slugs.

I was looking at these a couple weeks ago to add on a 10 or 14” shotgun , and from what I read people say they are indeed a gimmick and not worth doing. (Also that company might not really be operating at the moment)
