Shooting I am tired and sore...

I RO a youth event for my own range that we have, let some bang off: .308 which is a better gateway drug than .22lr given there reaction and some where gawking at the cool camo rifles.

I then zeroed and tried to practice for a service rifle match a 3 hour drive away.

All the while dealing with my AuADHD insomnia and delayed phase sleep so I am tired as hell.

My body and neck in particular is very very angry as well from prone shooting so much.

I just calling the rifle mystery machine at this point: I just leaning into the fact my philosophy of use and how I build a rifle to meet that doesn't compute to others, nor do they know what they are looking at as a whole 😅...

This thing is a joy to shoot. Crazy accurate even after a half assed job of zeroing in the scope. Can't wait to shoot it again. Random hockey cards unrelated :)

Shooting Got my first shipment of .308

Ngl, I cheaped out on my first shipment and kept every box under $32

I found the 180gr for $28.99 per box, so I snagged 2 of those and S&B 147Gr 50 pack was on sale for around $60, then the Federal 150gr were around $30 and PMC 147gr were $28.99

I am going to do a test with these and see what my 1:10 barrel shoots best at 300 yards and then I will spend a bit more on 175gr and 168gr which people praise

Hey everyone,
Couple buddies and I recently got out for some long-range shooting in BC and managed to stretch things out to 1,200 meters. We filmed the entire session, including target impacts, spotting, corrections, and some of the challenges we ran into with wind and conditions.
We’re a new channel and this is our first video, so I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback from more experienced shooters on our setup, shooting technique, video format, or anything else you notice.

Rifle/Caliber: Accuracy international AX in 308,
Sako TRG in 308 and Timberwolf C14 in 338 Lapua Mag
Optic: Steiner, US Optics and Nightforce
Distance: 1,200m
Location: British Columbia, Canada
What would you have done differently at that distance?
Thanks for watching and stay safe.

Shooting Where to shoot crossbow gta

I was recently looking into cross bows but living in Mississauga I’m finding it difficult to find anything information of where I can go to practice with it. Is there any ranges within a 1 to 2 hour drive of the gta for crossbow usage

Shooting Derya 9mm at the range

Decided to take the Derya diaper out again, to try some reloads and faster shooting.

Still working on my precision, but for now it's just plinkin' at 30m.

Shooting Smacking steel

Shooting at some steel 8x8 at 600 in preparation for my upcoming LEH goat draw. Will be keeping shots under 400 for the hunt but want to get comfortable with distance.

Lots to learn shooting this far. So many variables. Wind has been crazy the last little bit so thats been a fun learning curve

Tikka t3x Ace game chambered in 6.5 creed with a area 419 hellfire match muzzle brake. MDT GRND bipod.

Yes I will be hauling this up the mountain. No I don't want a ultralite rifle 😅

I shoot 4 shot groups because my magazine holds 4. The rifle is a savage axis 2 xp 6.5 creedmoor Optic is a vortex diamondback tactical 4-16x44 FFP Ammunition is S&B 140 gr soft points The rifle is zeroed at 200 yards Primary use is coyote hunting

Shooting Looking for Trap Range Review in Ontario

Silverdale vs Hamilton vs Waterloo vs Bridgeport for Trap/Clay Shooting?
I’m a beginner getting into 12ga trap/clay shooting and looking to join a club in Ontario around GTHA region. I’ve narrowed it down to Silverdale Gun Club, Hamilton Gun Club, Waterloo Rod & Gun Club, and Bridgeport Rod & Gun Club.
I’d appreciate recent experiences from members:
How busy does trap get, especially on weekends?
Can you normally just show up and shoot, or is booking required?
Which club is most beginner-friendly and easygoing?
Are experienced members/staff generally willing to help a beginner with technique and learning while practicing?
How are the trap facilities/machines and overall atmosphere?
How does bringing guests work, especially someone without a PAL who would be directly supervised?
What are the typical costs per round besides membership?
Any major pros/cons you’ve noticed?
If you’ve shot at more than one of these clubs, which would you recommend for a beginner who wants to regularly practice, learn and improve at clay shooting?
Thanks!

Shooting .22 LR Ammo Test - Henry Lever Action

Thumbnail

I tested four different .22 LR rounds in my Henry Lever Action to see which one it preferred.

Test setup

  • Distance: 50 yards
  • Front rest and rear bag
  • 10-shot groups

Ammunition tested

  • CCI Blazer (included because it won my bulk ammo test)
  • CCI Mini-Mag
  • Eley Club
  • Eley Force

I was starting to lose hope in the Henry at 50 yards until I tried out the Eley Force

Shooting Being able to shoot without severe muscular pain is awesome 🥳

I feel like trying to explain this often is like I am two headed dragon since this field is new and emerging, I kinda trying to explain what happen in simple dumb down terms pragmatically to me with chronic pain syndrome:

So it's a bit complicated, but new research interlinks ADHD can cause chronic pain in depth, and stimulants can dramatically help, along with other meds like pramipexole. As someone who is AuADHD: I have to wave said study data in doctors' faces and find a new doctor who actually listens and works with their patients.

Please give me Vyvanse and pramipexole to fix my chronic pain based on study data because everything else they've tried has failed or been mismanaged.

Now I can go pew pew with guns without my back being in 8/10 pain afterwards taking Vyvanse and pramipexole, and it's resolving a really severe disability I've had since 2019.

I am also not making up things, Dr. S Kasahara has lead in depth studys within this field and has a whole mini study review on neurodivergent chronic pain management:

Shooting CA Alcore Tacti-cool Kit video from

Thumbnail

Build-N-Blast on YouTube has the only video of the Crusader Arms Akdas Alcor kit in action I've seen.

I like how the kit allowed the fellow to use a foregrip and flashlight, and stock looked reasonably stable for a polymer stock. I've posted to his video to ask him if has too much flex or not. The lack of a mag funnel seems to impact reloads. Could TNA or another maker create a printed mag funnel for the Alcor?
