Shooting CA Alcore Tacti-cool Kit video from

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ov6kKKY8Wqo&t=1s

Build-N-Blast on YouTube has the only video of the Crusader Arms Akdas Alcor kit in action I've seen.

I like how the kit allowed the fellow to use a foregrip and flashlight, and stock looked reasonably stable for a polymer stock. I've posted to his video to ask him if has too much flex or not. The lack of a mag funnel seems to impact reloads. Could TNA or another maker create a printed mag funnel for the Alcor?

The Australians at Fox Operator make a mag funnel

Cool, but it says it requires the Fox Operator handguard, as the front attaches by MLok. I don't know if the position of the MLok on the CA handguard would work. Maybe some serious Alcor fan who has both can tell us. https://foxoperator.com.au/products/competition-flared-magwell-for-akdas-alcor-223

Yeah, it works.

This is precisely my build.

Do you have any photos of the build?

Sweet, thanks! Does the flared magwell work well? And are you running the Crusader Arms stock, and if so, ia it rigid enough or too flexy? Or are you running the Fox Operator buffer tube or 1913 adapter? Thanks!

Flared Magwel works great. I'm running the fox operator buffer tube adapter.

How sturdy is the buffer tube adapter ? Quite expensive

No stock wobble with the Magpul CTR Milspec stock. After 1000+ rnds thru the alcor, no issues with the tube adapter.

Build-n-Blast on YouTube has updated his semi-automatic .223 Akdas Alcor Hunting Rifle to use the Crusader Arms tactical kit. This replaces the wood handguard with an aluminum one that has MLok slots, and the fixed wood stock with no pistol grip for a polymer one that is adjustable in length and comb height, has a pistol grip, and will fold.

Sounds like more than 5 rounds

Pistol mags were used

Thought this gun used only proprietary 5 round box mags?
