Shooting Stretching It Out to 1,200m in British Columbia 🇨🇦 | Full Shooting Session & Impacts
https://youtu.be/ZEQZGvqnYxo?si=VJvMObAd-XLc8EcgHey everyone,
Couple buddies and I recently got out for some long-range shooting in BC and managed to stretch things out to 1,200 meters. We filmed the entire session, including target impacts, spotting, corrections, and some of the challenges we ran into with wind and conditions.
We’re a new channel and this is our first video, so I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback from more experienced shooters on our setup, shooting technique, video format, or anything else you notice.
Rifle/Caliber: Accuracy international AX in 308,
Sako TRG in 308 and Timberwolf C14 in 338 Lapua Mag
Optic: Steiner, US Optics and Nightforce
Distance: 1,200m
Location: British Columbia, Canada
What would you have done differently at that distance?
Thanks for watching and stay safe.

I don't need to know the location, but was this just on Crown land on the mainland? Curious how far off paved roads I'd need to go to find a place like this.

Yes it’s on Crown Land but not on Lower Mainland, you have to drive towards Prince George

Good job on both the shooting of targets and shooting the video.
I'm looking forward to more adventures.

Appreciate it! I’ll be uploading new content every couple of weeks. The next video is already in the editing phase and will be a sturgeon fishing trip on the Fraser River. Plenty more BC outdoor and shooting content coming.

Thanks! We’re a mix of people on the channel. As for me, I was born and raised in Greece. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Brother I can’t really give out the exact location but if you drive towards Prince George you can find areas further than that. I usually hope on Google Earth and search for big open areas and when I have time I go scout them

What do you use to verify land use? I just got ihunter and it looks pretty decent but any tips or tricks you use?
