I think these have been discontinued now? I barely see them anymore.
I’ve held onto mine and it has been really reliable, with very good accuracy. Eats pretty much anything I feed it. Only con is the disassembly, definitely not the most convenient design.
Anyone else here still have a CZ 512 Tactical?

On the Brigade Arms Makasi, what is the serialized part? If it is the lower, could someone buy the upper, handguard, BCG, and other proprietary parts from BA and take barrel and bolt from a donor rifle? I know you would either need the same position/length of the gas port, or you would have to plug the existing port ala a Renegade and drill a new port. I was thinking this way people can make their own upper for 300 Blackout, 7.62x39 mm, Grendel, 6 mm ARC, etc without having to wait on Brigade Arms. Thanks!
Edit: Thanks to Acceptable_Visit_115 down-thread for confirming the lower is the serialized part.
I emailed Chris at Third Echelon in Edmonton a while back. He used to make mid-length pistons for the WK180-C. If someone has a Makasi in Edmonton, he can measure the piston for comparison to see if his leftover stock of pistons will work with the rifle. You can email him at [c@thirdechelon.ca](mailto:c@thirdechelon.ca) . Someone like Neuman Metalworks may also have the wherewithal to make different lengths of piston, if there is demand. Time will tell.

I got my first ever firearm today about an hour ago. And i am literally crying tears of joy. I must say that i cant thank you all who advised me to get a tikka t3x in 308win as my first hunting rifle. The action is butteerrrryyyy smooth and its super lightweight and doesnt feel cheap any where. 10/10

It’s 4 years I have my PAL. I hunt, go to the range and I shoot clay pigeons. I currently have 3 guns
-1970 Browning BAR 30-06 Belgium
-1990’s Winchester 1300 XTR 12Gauge
-Savage 64F 22LR
I just replenished my gun fund (~2000$)and I’d like to buy a new to me firearm. I’d like a to start a collection but a lot of interesting guns are now banned. I was thinking on a Ruger 10/22 takedown because it’s cool and perfect for a SHTF situation. I have decided to come here and ask what you guys and girls think would be a good addition. Maybe I’m missing something. All suggestions are valid. Thank you in advance

Put about 200 rounds through it now, .44mag.
The Rangerpoint Precision handguard is light and grippy, A nice upgrade from the original wooden handguard, though I like the look of the original, this is tacticooler.
The Leopold Delta Pro 6moa sight is perfect for 25-50m.
Trying to hit 6in targets consistently has been challenging.

Had to do a LOT to get this to work (clearly 😂) and I rushed it. Canuck operator buffer tube is an inch longer and isn't circular like a standard Benelli m4 tube.
Yes it's ugly... But it feels great! The standard length of pull felt slightly too short anyways. Found the stock for $130 on gunpost but somehow an actual Benelli buffer tube is a fair bit more than that. Wouldn't have mattered anyways since the trigger group is completely different and it won't mount up to the urbino pistol grip even with a Benelli tube. She's seen 2500 rounds so far.
Idk why google says the Urbino is a direct fit to the Canuck operator because it DEFINITELY is not 😂 it does fit the panzer arms m4 though, which is a much better clone.
Oh, and that's an m8x1.25 bolt from my Jeep holding it in incase this wasn't enough of an abomination as is.

He had a prohibition order and we made the transfer of handguns prohibited. There's no way this can be true... this must be fake news.

Need a magazine extension that is about 10.5” long for my Remington shotgun. What “size” (capacity) is that?
Thanks
r/canadaguns • u/Elbro_16 • Aug 06 '26
Over all decent gun for $300. Straight off the bat I threw in a sbi mag adapter for the rem 597 mags.
Gave me a few stovepipes, but not enough to complain about. Put 100 rounds of norma tac 22 through it, and 100 rounds of blazer.
Anyone removed the extractor from these? The pins seem super tough to remove, I’d just like to go over the extractor a bit.

Wasn't a huge fan of the size of the rear peep sight. Went to the gun shop looking for a 3-9, came home with a red dot instead. Leopold Freedom RDS 1x.

Thinking about buying a flintlock from Things Military, but there aren't any reviews. Has anyone had any experience with their flintlocks?
Is there any recommendations on where to get a shootable replica flintlocks?

As titled. It is not as heavy as people thinks.
For reference, I used to run a PEQ15 on a 16.5" Bren 2 and they ran very similarly weight-wise as the PEQ15 was an extra lb on the Bren.
I might take the faux suppressor off after some range test.
Edit: It is about 10.5lb as it stands. I do have a Surefire Scout light on the other side. Without the faux suppressor it is about 9.7lb. I rather suffer additional weight to not see the pencil barrel.

I was recently looking into cross bows but living in Mississauga I’m finding it difficult to find anything information of where I can go to practice with it. Is there any ranges within a 1 to 2 hour drive of the gta for crossbow usage
