Buy recommendations Vortex Triumph alternatives
Hello I'm looking for cheap red dot for my Carmel, what could be the alternatives for indoor range target practice

Just so we're clear, your looking for cheaper than the $160ish of a vortex triumph to put onto your new $2500 rifle?

If you absolutely have to cheap out just do the triumph but id be looking at an LVPO for that bad boy.

I've had good luck with an 80 buck Romeo 5 clone from China. So far has held up to my 7.62 x39 cz trail with no problem

My triump works well on my A300 UP. I assume 12g will have more recoil than a 5.56/.223 gun does
Get the triump if you are on budget.
Get a micro prism from Primary Arms if you have little more cash to spend.
LVPO is good but will be more expensive. I have a cheap Arken Lh6 1-6x on my Renegade and it is working very well. Cheap but robust just too heavy. Carmel will be on the heavy side so I will get a sole 3x micro prism

Bought this cheap Chinese red dot and have honestly been super surprised how good it is. Hold it’s zero can change your pattern and even switch from green to red. Put tons of rounds through and it’s held its zero.

Can someone explain to me why people hate on the triumph? Like ok its not a high end dot but 50k hours battery life, shake awake, holds zero, sturdy enough, glass is relatively clear, dot relatively bright and lifetime warranty. All that for 160$.

I have never tested old vortex optic. But have in tje past 10 years or so, I think their optics are a good bang for your buck. The HD line has really clear glass. I get I would never put a 150$ optic on a 2500$ rifle like OP wants to do but for a cheap build, I think the triumph is hard to beat. I have it on a cheap shotgun and it does me pretty good.

Because Bushnell builds a TRS25 and you’re not lining influencers pockets?
I like shooting guns and they’re a great option. I don’t need to pay for shit glass and Rinella to adorn my optics

Can you explain to me what makes tje TRS25 Better tant the triumph? I hace never own a Bushnell so I can't conpare. But reading the specs, is has no shake awake, 10x less battery life. I get you don't like companies paying for influencers but its marketing I guess.

At $110 they’re an excellent value for your dollar, I’ve three on different guns including a SX3 Turkey gun. All hold zero without issue and have long and proven track records. This sub is mostly filled with new PAL users and they’ve unfortunately drank the Vortex KoolAid, Vortex is mediocre glass backed up by incredible marketing and with our shit dollar are overpriced for what they are.

Seem like you have a deep rooted hate for vortex😂. I personally never really had good experiences with low tier bushnell scopes but I have never tried their dots. Vortex has done me good over the past decade so I guess we are going to have to agree to disagree on this one.. cheers

Do be fair there are a lot of Amazon garbage red dot available that would be worse than the triumph, but I agree bottom tier from any brand is not a great choice.

Don’t cheap out to hard you just spent 2500$ on the rifle spend a few hundred atleast
