Buy recommendations Has anyone bought a musket from Things Military LTD?
Thinking about buying a flintlock from Things Military, but there aren't any reviews. Has anyone had any experience with their flintlocks?
Is there any recommendations on where to get a shootable replica flintlocks?

The Things Military Flintlocks are UBER "made in India" grade. I bought a 36" NW Trade Gun and the last 6" of the barrel had couple degree bend to it. The lock is super crude and the wood to metal inlay is the worst ive ever seen. The touch hole wasnt drilled for "ease of import" (this was fully disclosed before buying along with the guns East Indian origins).
The bend and somewhat crude construction of the lock, stock and barrel turned me off drilling the touch hole and firing it. Instead I turned it into a super unique airsoft gun. During that process I chopped apart and milled the barrel and breach plug. Much to my surprise the quality of the steel, construction, finish and fitment of the barrel and breech plug was actually very good ( minus the bend ). In hindsight, certainly something that I wouldn't hesitate to fire! Never tried checking the lock for sparks.
Overall, I'd buy another "made in India gun". But would expect it to serve as a base for a project.
Military Heritage and Loyalist Arms are 2 other company's that stock these kinds of repos. They may be more transparent and supportive then Things Military (which has quite the colorful reputation lol) when it comes to cherry picking the quality.
If u want a Military pattern musket thats hassel free to get firing good, save up and buy a new or used Pedersoli. If your willing to settle on a rifled Flintlock instead of a Musket (smoothbore), then your options open up greatly. Used Thompson Centers and Lyman Great Plains rifles got good reputations. Traditions flintlocks are poor for the money skip them. And Pedersoli actually offers some fairly affordable rifled flintlocks opposed to their much more expensive Muskets.
