My family is extremely anti-gun going as far as to suggest that even owning one gun is a negative on society.

The same family told me during Covid that they’re gonna show up at my house when shit hits the fan because they know I can protect them.

You can’t have it both ways people.

But they want it both ways.

And they're too stupid to notice.

And they're too egotistical to accept it if you point it out.

People in a nutshell.

Another good thing to ask people you care about is have you considered what you'd do if you called 911 and nobody answered?

The problem with that question is they dont even believe that this is a possibility.

They can believe however that wait times can take forever. That’s in the realm of possible. So I would say “What would you do if they say they are 10 minutes out but danger is half of that if not less away?”

Leftists think it's more noble to be killed than to defend themselves. They are not sane people.

As a first responder, I can guarantee you that it is more of a possibility than not. When you need them now, Police, Paramedic, and Fire are all minutes to an hour away. Everyone should be self-reliant and not depend on public resources as their first resort.

This is actually a reality for where I live. Thankfully I found out when it was just a transformer fire and not a huge emergency. They can get to me (eventually) but 911 connects me to some provincial dispatch and they had absolutely no clue where I was 😂

Yeah I experienced it in PEI and it was really disconcerting until I later took some personal responsibility for my safety. Growing up I always assumed I'd be able to get help and when I couldn't it freaked me right out the first time.

It’s downright scary in the area I live in. You’re lucky to get an answer within 10 minutes if you call 911 and I live in the GTA

I would ask them if that includes disarming the government. Because if it doesn’t then that logical pattern is not consistent.

But then they have to consider foreign involvement (raids, terrorists or infiltration). Even if all guns left your country what is stopping Joe Blow from Michigan running across the border to mess you up?

Okay what’s stopping Mike from Canmore making a pipe shotgun and messing you up? Or better yet. What’s stopping your own government from messing you up?

Exactly so don't even try controlling these things and focus on the root of the problem which is mental health and money problems.
