Quick question for you guys I’m a new license holder I just ordered my fist handgun the email I got gave me a reference number and that I don’t need to do anything but I feel like I need to do stuff on my end thanks for the information an help

I also got got to mention befor I’m in Alberta I am also a member of a rang.

Depending on which province you live in, it is mandatory to be a member of a shooting range. I believe its Ontario and Alberta that seem to be less stringent on the membership requirements. Looking into a shooting range either way would be a good idea if you plan to use your restricted firearm.

You also mentioned that you received a reference number? Make sure you received the transfer number (starts with 59xxxxx) and not just the reference number for the actual purchase.

If you have those 2 points covered it becomes a waiting game.
