I've asked this question a couple of times with no luck, hoping someone is able to help me. My question is about the Minor's Possession License, specifically for anyone who currently has one (or had one recently) and is in BC. Especially if you got it during COVID times.

What conditions can I expect to get on my license? I know Alberta has a couple of conditions they put on every minor's license, I would assume that BC also has some conditions they put on every license, just wondering what those are. I am wondering about license conditions that are attached to the license by the provincial CFO of BC. Thanks.

So are you saying we have the same conditions put on as Alberta? (linked in original post) I'm trying to figure out if I am able to borrow my parent's NR gun and go shooting without any supervision as well as if I am able to act as a supervising person for someone without a license? My interpretation of the RCMP page on MPLs is that you can do that under federal law but was wanting to see if the CFO would put conditions saying I can't since it looks like that is what AB does.

Thank you very much. Any idea if direction means like supervision in this context? I have a sneeky suspicion it does but then what is even the point of an MPL? Especially when the parent doesn't even need to have a license for the minor to get one. Maybe it just means the parent can tell/direct their minor what they can do with the firearm on any given day?

Yea, I'm a bit under two years off being able to apply for my PAL. I'll probably ask the CFO if they call or I'll call if they don't. I'd like to be able to go out to crown land and do some shooting without needing to bring a PAL holder with me. Thank you for your help.
