I can't believe the government is trying to disarm us and there isn't huge pushback. Can't we get a massive protest going?

This right here. Not a gun owner yet (PAL pending), but I personally find a lot of issues more pressing than guns, such as education, healthcare, and affordability. I applied for my PAL for hunting purposes, so that I could save some money on food while also eating in a more ethical way. Our biggest issue is FPTP — proportional representation or ranked ballots would allow more political viewpoints into Parliament. No party fits 100% of my political viewpoints, but the CPC and I have nothing in common except for guns. That’s not enough for my vote.

In my opinion this is short sighted. I too have nothing in common with CPC besides guns, but I voted for em last cycle and I'll vote for them next cycle. And when they fuck something up I care about I'll vote for someone else. At that time. The liberals are currently stealing thousands of dollars from me, effectively. So I will vote CPC, and then maybe after the CPC is in I'll vote liberal if CPC is fucking social services or something. But we need to stop the bleeding and the CPC can't really fuck anything up with a minority but the liberals can thanks to the block and NDP. if people wanna see things not get fucked up all the time cpc minority is the best outcome. This liberal ndp coalition is spit in the face of democracy. The people trusted you with a minority, and you went around them.
