That's true, especially given the seats in the Okanagan and FVRD can't afford to be lost and Horgan will piss off a lot of people there. But the province is running on fumes and only managed to report a tiny surplus because of how fucked housing is. Trudeau is waving a billion dollars to this program, I think he's going to take it, and that means COV and the Island = fucked. I do think if enough noise is made about this, maybe they'll back off but I doubt it.
Also personally I can not bring myself to ever support the BCLP. Especially after Clark. They can rebrand all they want, but they'll be Neoliberals at the end of the day, and they're not going to do jack shit about this either. Sometimes I wish there's a real pragmatist party here to keep both of them on their toes.
