so what are the thoughts on the Uvalde school shooting?

Disasters like this are central to discussions of gun control.

I know most of the takes are going to be garbage, interested to see if there will be anything new and reasonable in the replies.

CBC ran this story almost exclusively yesterday, and still like 50% today.

The current government like to use shooting in US or Canada as a premises for more gun controls.

We already know the NS shooter got his guns illegally, yet government did OIC ban anyways.

The gun laws in States are all over the place, nothing like ours, mass shooting will keep happen if they don't do something solid. But the Canadian government also like to use that as preface as we are part of US, that our FA haven't done anything to prevent gun related crimes.
