so what are the thoughts on the Uvalde school shooting?

Disasters like this are central to discussions of gun control.

I know most of the takes are going to be garbage, interested to see if there will be anything new and reasonable in the replies.

Canadian gun culture and US gun culture are not the same

Not only gun culture. Let's face it, the US has a very violent culture and Americans have been killing each other (and others) since the country began. Guns are the symptoms not the disease.
