so what are the thoughts on the Uvalde school shooting?

Disasters like this are central to discussions of gun control.

I know most of the takes are going to be garbage, interested to see if there will be anything new and reasonable in the replies.

Symptoms of a very ill culture. Blaming the tool is a lazy way to avoid fixing difficult multivariate societal problems.
