It's gonna be funny when someone puts this on a TM22 flash.

Bring it to trap day and clear some spots on the range membership rosters when the fudds get a heart attack from it.

Forget about detachable magazines. We are getting detachable plastic handguards!

Yeah this is a "put it on a rail with BEEFY recoil lugs" item. If people put this on smooth or polymer rails they should... Not... Do that.

Mlok slots simply cannot handle the recoil unless it is a purpose built heavy duty mlok handguard. There is a reason why grenade launcher and underbarrel shotguns were only allowed to be mounted onto the picatinny rail. This is no different. It will rip out the mlok slot with ease

That thing is far from an under slung ithica with slam fire. The United Citizen Federation wouldn't rely on one shot at a time during Operation Bughouse.

Why the Christ is a single-barrel shotgun, likely from Turkey, that requires another gun to even use it, fucking $800? This is a $150 shotgun, it does not have another $650 worth of bullshit on it.

We are paying for the V E R S A T I L I T Y. Its M O D U L A R. It serves a N I C H E purpose.

That's called "the Destroyer", right? As in; it destroys the rifle you mount it on?
If I wanted to ruin one of my guns, I'd loan it to my brother-in-law

My crazy self looking at this and thinking how great it would be on my CZ 600 trail....

That's uhhh
That's what I'm going to do.
At 8.5" OAL it should fit pretty much perfectly. Just need a very robust rail.

It's actually comming out? I remember seeing the marstar/ares behemoth a few years ago, but that got canceled.

Is it finally making its way to production?
The Marstar/Ares one was dead a couple years back iirc.

u/CryptidWorks CryptidWorks 6d ago
The marstar one was also stated to be restricted in their video iirc, but I don't think they ever actually submitted it for an FRT. I think they were just guessing.
2
u/Acceptable_Visit_115 6d ago
Their first one (Monoceros) had a pistol grip so it got Restricted as it's technically a handgun. Their second attempt (Behemoth) is NR.

I preordered it. Been waiting for them to post it since it popped up in the FRT listing. :)

Who makes it? Can't find it via google

u/CryptidWorks CryptidWorks 6d ago
Uxbridge Arms is the importer. The manufacturer is Armshot out of Turkey.

Yeah, I ordered one and talked to the guys at the TACCOM today, our orders include in the $100 discount and the chasis is $300.

Can someone explain how this is legal? Isn't the length of a gun one of the biggest criteria?
Not complaining, but man it just seems like our laws make no sense

It doesn’t fire unless it’s on the proprietary stock that they have. You can’t attach it to any rail.

i thought it was cool until i saw how fucking overpriced it is. 800$ for what is basically a 3/4 pipe with a firing pin is ridiculous. i can get a whole ass pump shotgun for cheaper. id pay 250$ for it at most

u/MourningWood1942 5d ago
I’m going to get a picatinny rails surgically mounted on my forearm so I can shoot these like a modern day Ezio Auditore

Hear me out.
Three go to the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions on your RIS handguard.
45° adapters bolted and JB-welded to the RIS place another 2 at your 4:30 and 7:30 o'clock positions.
Custom fabricobbled trigger linkage connects all five of them.
Four holes drilled on the linkage.
Two paracord loops, with a sensible amount of slack, passed through a skeletonized vertical grip.
Vertical grip velcro'd securely to the underside of your receiver.
In case of emergency detach the grip, brace yourself, yank it, and give whatever's in front of you the Poundtown Special.

They should sell a version with an attachment rail underneath. That way we can mount multiple in a stack.
2
u/Tookan_ 6d ago
Allegedly it can only work when mounted to their proprietary stock system for it to disengage some safety feature, not entirely sure about that thus far, and I hope that's either not true or comically easy to modify into otherwise (assuming doing so is legal).
4
u/Buckisop 5d ago
Any picatinny rail works. Look at the button on the top where it needs to be pushed down for the thing to fire.
3
u/noyes-nomad 5d ago
Ya a lot of people seem to be missing that. By having it not be able to fire unless it’s attached to that stock is what got it approved by the rcmp.

I think the way it opens too plays into it. You have to have a space for the barrel to clear cause it swings up when it’s open. I think a lot more has gone into this to make it clear the rcmp than we think. Have to wait for proper video reviews on it.

Just doesn’t make sense looking at it, at a glance it looks like its just a spring loaded pin at the top that would need to be depressed.
3
u/CryptidWorks CryptidWorks 5d ago
It's likely similar to a grip safety in that regard. Lacking any reasonable grip, it fulfills the legal requirement to be an incomplete functional firearm like a barreled action/intended to be mounted to a existing firearm, I suppose, as long as that parent firearm or configuration when mounted to a stock is at least 26" OAL.
1
u/noyes-nomad 5d ago
I could very well be wrong but that is pretty strong wording in their description.
1
u/MacintoshEddie 4d ago
I wonder if you could replace the pump of a pump action shotgun with this so you can shoot a shotgun while shooting your shotgun.
