Allegedly it can only work when mounted to their proprietary stock system for it to disengage some safety feature, not entirely sure about that thus far, and I hope that's either not true or comically easy to modify into otherwise (assuming doing so is legal).

Any picatinny rail works. Look at the button on the top where it needs to be pushed down for the thing to fire.

Yeah, I figured that could've been what it was. Just didn't want to be so sure. Cool in that case, maybe not $800 cool though...
