Nah if they ever ban hammer my sks or my soon to be delivered makasi, im never ever giving them up. If i ever need money that bad id part with my wedding ring but not those. I mean i Bought them "Legally" working legally and paying taxes on it, fuck them for producing a paperwork trying to take them away from me. And more off fuck the guys who sign up for the buyback programs. We should stand united and totally boycott the stupid program.

It is my understanding that it was predominantly the brick and mortar shops that signed up. They don't want to hold valueless inventory.

I sold my handguns 3 months before the freeze kicked in. Admittedly I wasnt paying attention to the bill. One of the worst mistakes I ever made. Last thing ill do is hand over my rifles.

Sucks but I’m taking my S&W M&P 15T in on Friday for the buyback. Had it for like 2 months before it was made prohib. Only got to take it to the range 3 times.
But they’re giving me more than what I paid for it and I need the money more than I need a paperweight rusting in my safe. Haven’t even been able to go to the range since my son was born anyway.

Idk why people are hating on buyback when you should hate on oics. Would you prefer a world with all the bans but you dont get paid if you hand prohibs in?

Im just saying we should be focusing on root cause and that’s apparently triggering for many in this community

I guess people are mad because the "buyback" program was designed as a prisoners dilemma by deliberately underfunding it to incentivize people to declare their prohibs early to get a piece of the small buyback pie. So the early declarants are considered traitors.

Just Remember Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree was caught on tape admitting the program is bad policy but politically motivated and that he would personally bail out lawbreakers.
Those comments alone should of caused this entire program to be scrapped and cost that fool his job
