I'm gonna get downvoted to oblivion, but the reality is that a lot of shitty criminals who can't buy a real illegal handgun use an airsoft one because it looks so similar. There has to be some mechanism to discourage shit criminals from doing shit criminal things.

Better get at dollarama and everything you can get Amazon or any other online retailer.

Seems like futile efforts for such edge cases.

It’s already treated as a firearms charge even if it’s not a firearm which is a fair measure. But a registry for this seems like a joke
