The right to defend yourself from individuals and the government is fundamental, without those, you have nothing.

Through the patriot act they lost their right to privacy.

Through not having citizen review panels their cops act with near impunity.

Their cops can seize any large amount of money that they think is generated from crime and the money existing is evidence enough for them to seize it.

Their second ammenement is a redundant joke. You're telling me their government gives them the right to defend themselves agaisnt the government? No. It does not. Even if it did you dont permission from the government to overthrow the government.

And we have the right to self defense using reasonable force.

What the 2nd ammendment really does is lower the bar for politicians so low that as long as the masses arent rising up to overthrow them they can do whatever they want.

The entire country has forgone logic and reason and they run the country based on shit identity politics and whatever raises the most outrage.

Theirs is a pseduo freedom.
