My concern with “it sucks here I want to leave” is that it’s very anti-patriotic. While I love firearms and this community, I love my actual country - the landscape, culture, and core values - even more than that.

I’d prefer stay, contribute my productivity and taxes, participate in my civic duty to vote, and ultimately try my best to engage politically to improve this place rather than leave. I also believe that’s the patriotic thing to do.

More power to you m if you want to leave, especially if you’re not interested in permanent residency or citizenship but I definitely think it’s a bit misguided to leave simply due to the status quo politically. This is especially the case given the current legislative changes being made in the US. Trump isn’t exactly pro-2A and many states are actively harming their gun communities much like here (like Virginia, cali, etc). We actually have less restrictions here than some specific states.
