I think worst case we see a slightly underwhelming win. Best case is we get what we’re hoping for

I sure hope so.
Realistically, this is the most opportune off ramp for the government to get away from the whole fiasco without ever having to admit it was terrible policy from the start.

THIS is the golden ticket in my opinion - they know it is unpopular, even with non gun owners, and its expensive - they can walk away and say they tried
