Buy recommendations Is it a good starter setup?

So after my recent post, i choose to start with a .22lr rifle for shooting range(100-300yards),it my first gun ever and i want to know guys if this setup it decent? My total budget is lil bit under 2k$ cad. Thanks you

( i have difficulty to choose the scope,too much specs to look)

CCI standard shoots fantastic from bolt 22s and is pretty reasonably priced. You can go up to Eley for higher quality stuff that's better for precision shooting, but work your way up; there's no need to right off the hop.

Personally, if you're shooting benchrest anyway, I'd skip the bipod and just shoot off bags. They're cheaper and more precise anyway.

You may find 16x insufficient if you're shooting paper as spotting your hits beyond 50 yards can get tough.

Nothing wrong with the RPR, but you might be able to get a Savage B22 Precision for cheaper. Personally, I prefer the B22 to the RPR, but they're both good. The B22 Precision comes in an MDT chassis, though, which I believe is a better chassis that will also offer better accessory support.
