There's been many high profile incidents with the SKS the last 5 years or so. Doesn't nullify the fact it's logistically impossible to ban the SKS.

they dont give a damn about logistics. if they did, the first bans wouldve actually done something. its about preventing future ownership to law abiding citizens

Logistics also includes legal frameworks. Examples include indigenous rights guaranteed by the Constitution and that suppressing the most popular hunting tool among indigenous people, could be seen as a violation of their treaty/hunting rights.

2 things can be true though.

I feel like they wouldn't want another court case even if they end up winning the current CCFR Supreme Court Case. It casts them in a rather bad light.
