If you are looking for a serious answer it has the second highest population in Canada. It's just statistics.

I mean per capita they have more mass shootings than Ontario has. Political violence and extremism has always been a problem with Quebec. The amount of mass shootings/high profile gun incidents in our history show for it.

FLQ, Denis Lorte, Polytech, Concordia, Dawson, Richard Henry Bain, Quebec City Mosque to name a few... There's a reason why the province overall is anti-gun more than any other province in the country.

Following your amazing logic, there are way more shootings in the USA per popula, where they are forced to speak english. And the guy was from Alberta so...
