If you are looking for a serious answer it has the second highest population in Canada. It's just statistics.

I mean per capita they have more mass shootings than Ontario has. Political violence and extremism has always been a problem with Quebec. The amount of mass shootings/high profile gun incidents in our history show for it.

FLQ, Denis Lorte, Polytech, Concordia, Dawson, Richard Henry Bain, Quebec City Mosque to name a few... There's a reason why the province overall is anti-gun more than any other province in the country.
