Yeah you can see that fucker reload with a stripper clip in the video that gets posted around.

Hopefully this shows how ancient and slow the SKS is and blows a hole in Polys narrative.

Hah! Not a chance. This will only reinforce their desire to ban it as well. The only reason it's been spared hasn't been its age or lack of features. It's been it popularity with Indigenous hunters.

If I were poly the counterargument would be that he could've done even more damage with a detachable magazine capability that is easy and common to get on an SKS

Glad he's dead. RIP to the police officer... =

Unironically low capacity magazines saved lives in this case.

Yeah good thing the mass shooter decided to follow magazine restrictions

Yeah surprising he didn't just get rid of the pin, but i don't expect much from dead idiots.

Yup but also it was a fixed mag SKS so the real good thing is he had terrible choice of gun

As per the subreddit rules, your post/comment has been removed for the following reason:

[10] Frequently Asked Questions New firearms owners, PAL/RPAL applicants, and those genuinely curious are asked to post their "newbie" questions in these threads.

Any questions that are considered "Recurring Frequently Asked Questions" or FAQ's will be referred here. This includes things like:

What are the pros/cons of very commonly purchased firearms? What are waiting times like for licenses/ATTs/registrations? How do I get my PAL? Is a specific, well known retailer reliable? Where can I find Crown Land in a specific area? Where can I find a range in a specific area? If you have received this as the takedown reason for your post, we invite you to try using the search bar for the subreddit. Your question has already been answered multiple times, and a simple search will provide answers.

The FAQ thread will be posted on Sunday, and will be renewed every 14 days.

The video being linked shows people dying. You can find it on X anyway, just not here.

u/Jonthan93 Jun 22 '26

Gotcha. Yeah i don’t need that.

u/Lumindan Jun 22 '26

Don't post it. You'll get the thread (and possibly sub) nuked.

It's also a good way for a user posting it to get swept up by Reddit admins
