Feets / Collection / My build First (and hopefully not last) Pistol
Got my 22 exemption recently and had the joy of picking up this puppy in the mail. Any pointers for someone new to pistol shooting?

Sorry, but could you clarify why you believe this not to be true, ignoring OP’s specific scenario in which OP is correct that they need an ATT due to the firearm not returning to it’s registered storage location?
According to
https://rcmp.ca/en/firearms/classes-firearms/classes-firearms-canada#s4
restricted firearms may be borrowed as long as the borrower has the appropriate license for the firearm being borrowed and registration paperwork is kept with the borrowed firearm.
Also
https://rcmp.ca/en/firearms/firearms-safety-training-transport-and-storage/authorization-transport#s2
an ATT is not needed for transport of a restricted firearm as long as it is being transported from its registered storage location to an approved range within a single province and then returned.
