Misc What’s the worst gun you’ve ever owned?
Curious what’s everyone else’s experiences with terrible or poorly made guns.

Wk180. Felt like shit, ran like shit; built like shit

u/ExplorerEnjoyer Apr 24 '26
My m10x made my wk180 look like the most reliable gun ever made. The m10x was essentially a single shot rifle

Carl Gustav 84mm MAW, (Medium Antitank Weapon)
Fun to shoot but awkward to carry, and the ammo is too heavy to carry more than a few rounds.
(I am pretty sure that they have upgraded the sights since 1981 though.)
Only available in the one drab colour.

My strongest Carl G memory is of running a range with two related thoughts on my mind: 1. I hope I don’t have to walk out there to deal with any UXO; and 2. I hope I don’t have to interact with Range Control at all (for reasons I won’t get into). Thankfully, all went boom.

u/DJ_Necrophilia Apr 24 '26
Did a company attack carrying one once. That sucked

u/ablemount Apr 24 '26
I captured one from an enemy force once. Their platoon 2IC was none too happy about that.

I just picked up a Canuck Recon 3, I am in for a world of pain ain’t I? xD

The issues were all related to being semi-auto. You should be fine.

I have a mossber international 715T which is hands down the most failure to feeds, jams, misfires and has the WORST bolt lock in the history of bolt locks. You have to push the bolt handle into the action to lock it back, and pull it back and away from the action to unlock it. Absolute steaming pile of alligator shit.

u/BackToTheCottage Apr 24 '26
Omg, and the magazines would destroy your fingers, specially the 25 round ones before the RCMP banned em.
2
u/Global_Theme864 Apr 24 '26
When I worked at Cabelas we sold so many of those, and I always tried to warn people. But they didn’t want to listen because it looked tactical.
1
u/cautiouslyathrowaway Apr 25 '26
I had the original carry handle version of that from like 2010 and using ccis it used to feed and fire no problem. Shot a good many grouse with it. Got rid of it years ago when I bought a differnt 22 but always regretted it
16
u/GreenMan165 Apr 24 '26
Chiappa M1-9 for me, absolutely cool concept executed so poorly. I bought it Mec Gar mags, some really expensive 9mm just to see if that would help and nope, my gun was a glorified straight pull bolt action if it wasn't jammed so bad that you had to take a minute with it. Had it been reliable I would probably honestly have still had it. The Chiappa M1-22's in my experience were quite a bit better.
5
u/hockeyfanatic777 Apr 24 '26
Hmm odd, before mine was lost in a fire, I never had a single jam with it, using basic beretta mags
2
u/GreenMan165 Apr 24 '26
I've heard of plenty of people having good experiences with them, which is actually what pushed me to try it, even though there was still a lot of negative out there at the time, and unfortunately I was one of the unlucky ones.

Funnily enough GSG is who I thought of after typing that up yeah, honestly, all of my experiences with their .22's was stellar, though even with them I have seen some bad cases. Then yeah, I remember at least initially the full size 9mm MP40's teething pretty badly, not sure how they are these days as I kind of quit keeping up.

Mossberg 715T
8
u/Murray3-Dvideos Apr 24 '26
When I worked at a gun store for a couple seasons, the Mossberg 715T and Remington 770's were easily the most problematic, returned and complained about guns we sold.
It became so bad with the 770s that staff were encouraged to tell shoppers not to buy them lol.
4
u/GreenMan165 Apr 24 '26
It's funny, I remember my friend owning an edge case 715T which he bought from day one to take unseriously, put all kinds of goofy crap on it, ran all kinds of terrible ammo through it, and for some weird reason, it worked. Wasn't pinpoint accurate but the plastic fantastic, horrific as it was to service with its 13 screw clamshell, actually worked Ok, and was actually pretty fun, it was an experience that rifle.

u/CurrentStructure7960 Apr 25 '26
I remember having to sand the edge of the magazine follower to get it to run the full 25 rounds. It would hang up at 11 rounds. Disaster to disassemble. I sold it after a month of ownership and got a 10/22.

u/666papa Apr 24 '26

But the Ruger just leaves so much to be desired still
2
u/tonyarkles Apr 24 '26
Something I found really funny about mine: the “right ammo” is CCI mini-mags. I tried a bunch of fancy match-grade ammo and they all did worse than the mini-mags, which could print dimes at 50 yards all day long.

Savage model 42, combo gun in .22mag/.410.
3
u/GreenMan165 Apr 24 '26
I've heard a lot of horror stories about these which makes me kind of sad, I have a not exceptionally well taken care of Model 24 in the family that was built really well and still works a damn. It's sad that they essentially kept gutting it to keep it economical until it became maligned.
From 24 to 42 really is backward development.

Cant say im surprised. I dont own one but the outdoors shop i work at has one in stock, and i received it and set it on display. First impressions were not great. Cheap feel overall, uncomfortable economics, and the two filthiest barrels i have ever seen come from the factory. Almost looked as though they sprayed matte paint down the bore
2
u/He4vyD00dy Apr 24 '26
Yea my plastic sights couldn’t even be adjusted to zero, and the front sight/barrel clamp doesn’t even belong on a pellet gun. I tried putting a rail on it to mount a red dot but it has a chin hover instead of a cheek weld. I won’t even sell it, because it’s that bad.
It’s a shame too, I love the idea of a combo gun, maybe one day I’ll buy a Chiappa double badger…

Factory-new Ruger 10/22 stainless. Two of them. And yes they are running on factory BX-1 mags.
Both struggled to cycle HV rounds. Stovepipe city. One had its "stainless" finish chip on the aluminum receiver. It's actually paint and some sort of clear coat. One had a crooked sight and a misaligned top rail screw hole.
This subreddit loves to glaze the 10/22 but they really, really don't build them like they used to.
Funnily enough, my 3 different custom 10/22s are all very reliable.
10
u/PlanetGuardian-42 Apr 24 '26
Afaik, it's pretty common for 10/22's to have trouble with high velocity and subsonics without a spring change.
Those assembly issues are pretty bad though. Shameful since most of Ruger's stuff is amazing.
2
u/Acceptable_Visit_115 Apr 24 '26
It didn't cycle my CCI SV either, for what it's worth. I threw the entire catalog of .22LR I had at it, from 1000 to 1300fps, from 34gr HP to 40gr LRN.
It's a piece of shit.
3
u/PlanetGuardian-42 Apr 24 '26
Damn.
2
u/Acceptable_Visit_115 Apr 24 '26
I eventually got one of them to reliably cycle anything from 950 to 1250fps. Did the bolt radius mod, gave it a new mainspring, new extractor, weaker hammer spring, and compensated that with the firing pin sharpen/overtravel mod.
But that's a lot of work to get a $500 rifle to run like new.
8
u/RustyJoots Apr 24 '26
Utas 12 was biggest piece of shit ever
1
u/GreenMan165 Apr 24 '26
Out of curiousity, what Gen did you have? I had a Gen 4 (kind of funny and ridiculous it made it through 4 gens in a way), didn't have it for super long which I sort of regret, because even though it wasn't perfect, mine actually ran pretty well.

Norinco M305. I wanted to love it so badly but it was just a heaping pile of junk. By the time I got it running right I couldn't stand the sight of it anymore and sold it.
10
u/CaptainMushie Apr 24 '26
I loved mine, completely did it over with m14.ca parts. It ran flawlessly for thousands of rounds. Printed 2 inch 5 shot groups at 100m, good enough for the girls I go with.
That being said, out of the box with the iron sights, the groupings were hand sized. So yeah, they did need some work.
3
u/prosper_0 Apr 24 '26
Yup. For the price of an M305, plus tuning, plus aftermarket parts, you could just get a GOOD M14 derivative or Garand. And they won't be as ugly, either.
→ More replies (1)3
u/CalibreMag Apr 24 '26
Not when they were $400 and a Springfield was $2k+.
They were pretty good for guns assembled by kids in high school shop class!
4
u/prosper_0 Apr 24 '26
Doesn't matter how cheap it is, if it's terrible. There comes a point where it's more expensive to by crap because then you have to re-buy it, or pour a ton of effort and money into it just to make it passable. And, in the end, a fully-worked 305 with $1k+ in parts and labour is still just a 305 and much less desirable.
4
u/CalibreMag Apr 24 '26
Except they weren't crap. They were actually very good, and in the world of M14s, quite desirable because they were built off the original USGI TDP (with the exception of a single thread) and had forged receivers, as opposed to the vast majority of M1as on the market that were milled from bar stock.
Canada just happened to be in the lucky circumstance to be one of the few places where Norinco could sell them, so they were cheap and plentiful, but they were better than rifles costing significantly more.
4
u/ONTZ28 Apr 24 '26
Better is a stretch. The only redeeming quality they had was affordability. It was pretty widely known that they were hit and miss and the later production rifles were even worse.
Mine the sights fell apart almost immediately and I had to chase issues with it not passing a function check. A brand new gun that is at risk of an out of battery detonation is not the mark of quality.
→ More replies (4)3
u/Gnarwhal_YYC Apr 25 '26
I had an out of battery detonation. Chunk of the bolt nearly took my hat off my head.
5
u/saneboy Apr 24 '26
Ruger SR-45. Had a bad extractor from the factory. Jammed pretty often. Once the slide got stuck with a live round in the chamber that I could not get out. Had to take it to my gunsmith loaded which is very bad thing.
5
u/Tangen7 Apr 24 '26
Jw 2000 from norinco. Cool concept, terrible build quality, and it just felt like it was gonna grenade on me. Good wall gun, but no longer in the inventory and no ragrets
3
u/450k_crackparty Apr 24 '26
I mean I paid 300 for it new like 10 years ago. Functions as advertised. Seems solid enough. Probably only put 200 rounds through it but it doesn't really have any function other than a toy or a camp gun (which I did use it for for a couple years). For me it'll never leave the inventory.
→ More replies (1)2
u/GreenMan165 Apr 24 '26
Oh how they love to crack behind the tang, all over. I have one right now that was someone's unloved beater, tang safety has broken and I needed to do some serious polishing to make it open without a beating after firing... kind of waiting for mine to fail somehow honestly.
Yet at the same time, it's a fun, handy, and cheap exposed hammer SXS which is why I kept going back, even knowing the build quality and longetivity is dubious. I'm probably gonna run mine til it croaks, then shrug and never do it again.

Chiappa M1-9, absolute piece of garbage that couldn't go more than a few shots without jamming, and then randomly started slam firing as well, and goddamn awful trigger. All around garbage quality gun. Horrible accuracy too (even for a PCC).
5

Norinco JW-14. It was $130 from Canada ammo way back. terrible plastic mag, wouldn’t feed anything until after I reworked the bolt and internals.
3
u/phatg93 Apr 24 '26
Agreed. I think I got less than 15 rounds through mine before the rear end cap blew off. You know it’s bad when the threads get sheared from a .22LR

u/Murray3-Dvideos Apr 24 '26 edited Apr 24 '26
Adler A110. 12ga lever action shotgun. Out of the box it couldnt feed nor extract any reputable trap loads....
SAP 6 Mag Fed 12ga Pump Shotgun. Couldn't make it through a single mag of trap loads without jamming. The optic rail which was literally secured by only one screw (the front sight bead lol) sheared off and fell onto the ground after roughly 200 trap loads.
4
u/brewski_tumble Apr 24 '26
Norinco JW15 from the tenda ammo deal
Ammo doesn't like to sit nice in the mag
Can only fit 5 rounds before it gets super wonky
Bolt pushes the rounds nose down into the mag when you cycle and you need to fish them out with a knife
Safety is ridiculous to engage and disengage, need to smack it off the bench
Action is super chunky
Front sights are canted just enough that it looks silly despite being a laser out to 50yds
But shit, it was 99$ 🤷🏽♂️
2
u/Krasdf Apr 24 '26
Grab a Cz 457 mag and polish the bolt and receiver and it will work. Worked on mine for 4 hours before it was worth shooting.

Norinco M305b. Had great expectations for the thing. 4th round ever through gun and it had a catastrophic failure. Blot exploded, a chunk of said bolt flew back and nearly removed my hat from my head. Large gouge in the rear of the barrel where the failure took place. Poor metallurgy is my guess. Non existent customer service.

Hmmm .... CZ VZ61 in 22LR and Chiappa M1-9
5
u/CringelordCameron Apr 24 '26
Vz61 in 22lr is a POS. That gun has a thing for out of battery discharges.
5
u/Remarkable_Vanilla34 Apr 24 '26
Or just piling brass inside itself. If mine wasn't stove piping out the top, I was pulling it apart to get the brass it "injected" lol. The novelty of it wore off quickly.
That being said most of the 22lrs I've owned that were a conversion from a center fire didn't run right. I could have built multiple rifles or bought a lot of ammo by the time i got my 22lr Ar15 to run correctly and reliably lol.
4
u/PteSoupSandwich The 10/22 Dude Apr 24 '26
By the number of down votes I'm receiving, I think I struck a nerve with some people lol
I spent more time disassembling my VZ61 at the range to clear out brass that got stuck inside than actually shooting it lol
2
u/chillyrabbit Apr 24 '26
It was a fun subgun though, but yeah pulling brass out of it what felt like every magazine made it less fun.

u/radkiller22 Apr 24 '26
WS-MCR. Even the local gunsmith said it was a massive pos. My mistake buying a canadian made cope rifle
6
u/2piecechicken0 Apr 24 '26
A Winchester SXP Hybrid. Had to take it to a gunsmith after roughly 60 rounds because the bolt became dislodged in the gun, leaving my action stuck. Even after that, every 10 rounds or so the barrel would become loose even though I screwed it on as tight as possible. It was was complete piece of garbage and I’m glad I sold it.
3
u/Black_Epstein Apr 24 '26
My SXP did the same. Took to trap shooting and had to screw the barrel back in every 15 rounds or so.
3
u/__WayDown Apr 24 '26
Hmm. I've used an SXP Hybrid (the grey cerakote one) in 3.5" and only had one slight jam out of about 600 rounds. Mostly target load.
3
u/thecoolernameistaken Apr 24 '26

u/Terapr0 Apr 24 '26
I owned a 10/22 and SR22 and they were both steaming piles of shit. Most unreliable semiautomatic guns I've ever owned or used. Didn't matter what ammo I used, they would jam, fail to fire, fail to eject, etc...I felt like I was lucky to go through a single mag without some type of issue. I sold them both and never looked back.
18
u/PteSoupSandwich The 10/22 Dude Apr 24 '26
Change out the magazine plunger spring for a stronger one (Kidd) and that will eliminate 99% of the issues. A lot of issues with the 10/22 can be attributed to the magazine not seating firmly in place (this is especially true for heavier / higher capacity mags).
Source: Been building custom 10/22's for years
7
u/SpectreBallistics Spectre Ballistics International (Verified) Apr 24 '26
This 100%. The banana mags can have feed issues due to not seating well. A heavier spring can really help.
For the rotary 10 round ones if the spring isn't wound properly it also will cause a pile of feed issues.
3
u/NemrahG Apr 24 '26 edited Apr 24 '26

3
u/GreenMan165 Apr 24 '26
My first ever gun that I bought was a 10/22, I actually have pretty fond memories of it but, it was a habitual stovepiper. Clean, dirty, good ammo, crappy ammo, original mags, Butler Creeks, Archangel, whatever, it always stovepiped 5-6 times every time I went out shooting with it. Never enough to make it so unreliable I didn't enjoy it, and it would run full mags most of the time, but always had its little quirk. 10/22 reliability is always an interesting discussion to me, and I think it cast/casts a bit of a wide aspersion as to semi auto .22 reliability in general.
3
u/Uncle_Ted_1942 Apr 24 '26
My Sears 6C (same as a Cooey 64, Savage 64). Jamfest, light primer strikes, stovepipes, wont chamber hollow points, goes from clean to so dirty it won’t work in 300 shots, mags suck to load and I’ve never gotten through a full (10 rd) mag without a major issue.
I bought it used for $100, sanded it down and stained the wood a nice black cherry, but as nice as it looks it’s genuinely the most troublesome gun I have ever owned.
I don’t even use it anymore, it’s not worth the hassle when I have a mint Marlin Model 60. I took the firing pin out and put a small dob of superglue on the bolt and now it’s just a wallhanger. Maybe one day when I’m more ambitious I’ll buy new guts for it and make it work.

The surface finish firing pin is so laughable bad. The springs are way too heavy. The sites are ass and get knocked out super easy. But i fixed all of those things.

ISSC Mk22 .22lr pistol.
The hybrid bastard love child of a Glock and a Ruger P89.
Jams, FTFire, FTE, FTFeed...somewhat accurate when it does go bang. External hammer because sometime you have to cock and fire 2-3 times for one round. Decocker safety AND a magazine safety, because Fuck You.

u/Basta562 Apr 24 '26
Sig P250. It was dependable and well build, just not a great gun to shoot at all. I hated that it was double action only

u/Kilo_Oscar_ Apr 24 '26
A S&W performance centre 1911. The thing kept breaking at the range. And by that I mean pieces were breaking off of it. After sending in for warranty repairs three times I traded it in for a G19
2
u/Steelringin Apr 24 '26
Keltec SU16 and it's not even close.
I've owned and shot other Keltecs and they've all been good/great. I bought an SU16 brand new and it shot so bad that I returned it to exchange for another one that somehow shot worse.
The best group I got out of either one was 5". Neither one could get through a 10 round mag without a failure to feed or eject. The second one I ran probably 500 rounds through hoping it would run in but it didn't. Pulled it apart to look for any obvious issues and found nothing. Tried different magazines, different ammo, as diligent as could be to try to get it to run and it just never did. And for a .223 the recoil was just obnoxious!
The only gun I never regretted selling.

Very awkward disassembly for cleaning.

Crusader arms templar.
Full of machining marks, sharp edges, poor anodizing, out of spec m-lok slots, out of spec picatinny rail, fasteners constantly loosening even with loctite, constant feeding issues... The final straw was the out of spec chamber causing bulging cases requiring a full warranty replacement with very spotty communication.
It spent more time as a paperweight than a barely functional rifle.
Sold it as soon as it came back from warranty.
Hope to never smell ya later.

Had a Remington 597 tactical, it was garbage to shoot and worse too try to clean. Needed 3(?) different Allen keys and a Phillips screwdriver to field strip it.

Chiappa M9-22. It never cycled more than 3 rounds without a jam. I ended up giving it away.

TNW ASR (Aero Survival Rifle)
Direct blowback 9mm pcc. Was a massive struggle to keep it from stovepiping every 10th round. Sold it after 6 months.

Mine was extremely reliable and ran just about anything I threw at it (except aluminum cases, like most PCCs). It ran in any weather. Rain, shine, or when it's -30c outside.
After a deep clean thousands of rounds in, I managed to make it terminally unreliable by accident: by screwing the buffer tube in or out by one or two turns too much. That was somehow enough to make it not cycle every other round, and never go through an entire magazine ever again. And yes, the buffer tube castle nut was not staked on those guns.
Threading the buffer tube to the correct depth via trial and error on the range made it reliable again.
Still the most puzzling firearm malfunction I've ever had.

Yeah I did adjust that a ton in trying to troubleshoot it. Maybe I got a lemon, I dunno. But I wasn't interested in sourcing replacement parts and continuing to beat my head against a wall. It was just not worth it at the time for me.

u/Acceptable_Visit_115 Apr 24 '26
Yeah I've read that these guns' issues are usually the buffer/spring. I know people who have made theirs reliable by swapping out the buffer weight and/or spring. It seems like this is a common issue across many blowback buffer PCCs of its design, as I've seen JRC and (to a much, much lesser extent) FX-9 owners have the same fix.

Wanna find out? Buy a turkish semi-auto shotgun. Except a Stoeger...
But, I never owned a "bad" gun. I like to do my research before a purchase.
One of my buddies bought a turkshit. He still regrets it. Another one had a takedown 10/22. He never liked it either and sold it to replace with a Tikka T1x that he absolutely loves. In hindsight, both acted impulsively without much research and are unlikely to make the same mistakes again.

Objectively, probably the Wk180 gen 2. Though it honestly ran pretty decent until my first piston went. But after I replaced and lock-tighted everything, I was almost 1000 rounds in with 1 or 2 hickups. And I had a lot of fun with it.
My least favorite is the SKS because of how un-ergonomic it is out of the box.

GSG15. Gave me an unfair impression that .22s will only fire 90% of the time and are unreliable.

A mystery single shot .22LR youth rifle made sometime in interwar Germany (I think, I'm, not an expert in interpreting proof marks)

I think, objectively speaking it has to be either the Sig Mosquito I got for $70 because it "didn't work" (I tightened a screw, suddenly the magazine retained and it ran fine)
Or
An unnamed single shot 12ga I have I paid 95 dollars for that....works? But sometimes comes in half when I break it open so I don't use it anymore

Remington model 710. Action felt like gravel , thing was hideous, heavy clunky

u/Focus787 Apr 24 '26
Yugo M48A mauser. There was something defective with the internal magazine as I would have the hardest time handloading any more than 1 round. If I used a stripper clip though then it would load with not much issue. I however got a regular M48 now and couldn't be any happier

Savage 67H 12g. Jammed on me multiple times. Gave it up after owning it for only one week.

Most NRs where there’s a drum mag. Most of the time it’s the drum mag. The Kriss Vector 22 was also garbage. The 9mm version was fine.

Not owned but used, a friends Savage 64 was functionally a straight pull bolt action

Charles Daly N4S Bullpup G3 Semi-Auto Shotgun - 12GA, 3", 18.6" Barrel, Black
Will have to say this one. Bought it from Firearms Outlet Canada. Legit my first disappointing purchase from them.
Not sure if its just because it is a brand new firearm, but it refuses to cycle any round from the magazine. ( i accept that the mag spring is totally brand new, can be very stiff, but have never had this issue with any other magazine fed firearm)
Unfortunately, now it is prohibited.. don't want to sound like a b!tch, but i feel cosmic luck will screw me if I attempt to use it to loosen the spring to see if it will eventually cycle properly.
Guess I will just have to wait with fingers crossed that some sanity will return.at some point.
edit should have mentioned... the first shell does feed correctly when first loading the mag and racking the slide. Its the follow up rounds that refuse to feed

Walther P22
I don’t think it ever shot one full mag without a problem.

Carcano M1891 carbine, though admittedly it's bad due to modern ammo limitations. The one I have functions reliably enough and it hasn't failed to shoot, but it has only managed maybe two rounds on paper out of 60 I've put through it at 50 yards.

You’re gonna laugh at this one rugger 10.22 hardwood. Sights were off from the beginning. The maintenance guy even tried to fix it. Sold it and bought Marlin model 70 semi auto tube fed. Probably my favourite gun to shoot.

Lee Enfield sporterized version. Must've had worn out barrel, the thing was all over the place.

A Savage 111 in .270. No matter what ammunition I put through it I couldn’t get it to group.

Savage 64 .22 LR semi auto. Biggest piece of shit I have ever seen, couldn’t shoot three shots in a row without it jamming up.

M+M M10X by far. Loved the concept and design, the execution was terrible. Jammed about 20% of the time and the upper was getting chewed up from jams

My buddy had a gsg16. Almost every time he ran it, he would experience jams, light strikes, ftf. He entered a few .22lr action shooting events and it let him down both times. He was able to recover from the incidents relatively quickly however, but that was the worst firearm I’ve ever seen.

How come nobody mentions GSG? GSG MP40 9mm had almost 50% jam rate for me and finally blew up

Havent had bad luck with any of my guns. Even when I had my WK180 Gen 2, it outperformed everyone of my friends and classmates. Including Tavors and Sterling Arms

Never owned anything totally garbage so this makes it hard but I guess if mine were ranked the bottom would be my PSA dagger or zastava m57

A Stevens shotgun. I think it was a 320. My second gun ever.
The forend would constantly jam and not cycle the action; just completely lock up. The chamber was full of burrs, the ejector was too weak to eject spent shells (stuck in chamber), and the front sight fell off.
I couldn’t even sell it. I gave it away to a buddy (full disclosure) who made it a bit better but eventually scrapped it.
I still shudder when I think about that POS.
Second worst was probably a Norinco M305. Was super fun when it worked though.

Zastava m70, literally after shooting 5 shots the screws holding the receiver to the stock came loose, how does this happen with a 308 bolt gun
1
u/Savings-Garbage-628 Apr 25 '26
Adler 224F the 18" barrel version with the top charging handle. The mags it comes with can't actually hold 10 rounds and if you can get through a mag without a jam, you're having a good day.

u/GlobalHawk Apr 25 '26
A cheap Chinese 12" double barrel 12 gauge. The stock broke in half after less than 10 rounds of birdshot. It was replaced, but the whole thing was really roughly built, and just not as much fun to shoot as I'd hoped. Quickly sold it off.

Derya tm22 pro, barely functions, light strike on 90% of rounds, stove pipes, failure to extract. gave up trying to fix it. Derya didnt offer any help or compensation

Grey Birch 10/22 custom build I did the thing is a headache constant jams or fail to extract properly, my MRA renegade v1 isn’t much better tho it has constant light strikes but if I run the same ammo a second time it finally fires…

Baikal MP 153 Shotgun, stock and chamber blew off after first shot. Might have just been a bad repair job.

u/Past-Alps6396 Apr 27 '26
Charles daly 101 single shot. I had light strikes about 2/3 of the time.
Henry ar-7. Tried several types of ammo, never made it through a mag without a failure to feed. At least it kind of worked as a straight pull if you held the bolt closed while firing.
