Misc What’s the worst gun you’ve ever owned?

Curious what’s everyone else’s experiences with terrible or poorly made guns.

TNW ASR (Aero Survival Rifle)

Direct blowback 9mm pcc. Was a massive struggle to keep it from stovepiping every 10th round. Sold it after 6 months.

Mine was extremely reliable and ran just about anything I threw at it (except aluminum cases, like most PCCs). It ran in any weather. Rain, shine, or when it's -30c outside.

After a deep clean thousands of rounds in, I managed to make it terminally unreliable by accident: by screwing the buffer tube in or out by one or two turns too much. That was somehow enough to make it not cycle every other round, and never go through an entire magazine ever again. And yes, the buffer tube castle nut was not staked on those guns.

Threading the buffer tube to the correct depth via trial and error on the range made it reliable again.

Still the most puzzling firearm malfunction I've ever had.

Yeah I did adjust that a ton in trying to troubleshoot it. Maybe I got a lemon, I dunno. But I wasn't interested in sourcing replacement parts and continuing to beat my head against a wall. It was just not worth it at the time for me.

Yeah I've read that these guns' issues are usually the buffer/spring. I know people who have made theirs reliable by swapping out the buffer weight and/or spring. It seems like this is a common issue across many blowback buffer PCCs of its design, as I've seen JRC and (to a much, much lesser extent) FX-9 owners have the same fix.
