This guys been working on a L85 project and actually got a NR FRT back from the RCMP.

First the Vintorez (restricted due to barrel length) and now this. I guess there are still some sane people in the RCMP.

Unfortunately that doesn't mean its immune to future bans, as the government can override RCMP's NR decision at the stroke of a pen. For example, when the GSG-16 was explicitly deemed not a MP5 and therefore NR by the RCMP, they Liberals just added a paragraph in the OIC to name-ban it instead.

I would pay a stupid amount for a Vintorez. It’s my dream gun, so I really hope it makes its way here.

It's currently impossible to get directly from Russia due to war-related sanctions, but I'm sure there are other ways lol
