RURAL quebeckers are every bit as rednecky as elsewhere in the country, maybe moreso. They're just vastly outnumbered.

Same sort of thing goes for BC. The further you get away from the big cities, the more 'my kinda people' there are.

Yep. Rural BC is solid blue, check out the riding maps, it's pretty interesting. Vancouver and Victoria just have more seats that the whole rest of the province, but geographically, the entire province outside of those 2 cities (and Kamloops) went conservative basically. 

Us folks in rural BC have more in common with Albertans and Saskies then we do with folks in Vancouver.

I went to Vancouver recently and man, I don't know why anyone wants to live in that city. Neat to visit, but what a fucking nightmare to live in.
