You're kind of proving my point here. When he called for defence of homes protections he did it in August after the election. When there was nothing to campaign for. It was token shit.
He was criticized for saying he was going to use the Notwithstanding Clause for the first time on the federal level to reinstate Mandatory Minimums which was a large part of the Safe Communities Act of 2013 which the Supreme Court deemed illegal and unconstitutional.
And the Safe Communities Act created the reasonable force doctrine that Pierre criticized back in August.
