I just hope that if PP wins a majority in the next election he does something in his promised re-write of the Firearms Act that would make it impossible to change because I guarantee you that people will get sick of him and the LPC will again run on banning everything they possibly can to gain brownie points with a naive public.
I don't know much about constitutional law, but he needs to do something like entrench private property rights and/or let the provinces set their own gun laws or we're going to go through this all again. Gun owners have been the LPC's whipping boys as far back as I can remember (and I'm old) and they certainly aren't about to give that "milch cow" up.
