In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

Any good restricteds we can buy? Im gonna have my card soon after the handgun ban so i dont know how useful the R is gonna be

M1 carbines are cool and criminally underrated. Ammo is less common but it is still routinely stocked on shelves.

VZ 61 for super compact PDW type rifle

Kriss vector in its original 5.5" barrel

P90 In it's 10.5" barrel

Cz bren 2 right now in 8",11",14" and 16" barrels.

A lot of the B&T stuff comes in SBR sizes

Micro Tavor (13") if you like surplus stuff

The market is restricted (ha!) But there are still plenty of R rifles around that if you only ever go shooting at a range isn't that bothersome to have and shoot with.

+1 for the M1 Carbine. You can also get them with longer aftermarket barrels that are NR.
